Should have gone for carrick or Edward's last June, I’d even try for Lampard when cov sack him half way through next season.

An absolutely brilliant 110% spot on post Keen. True to the core in evey aspect that cannot be disputed in anyway whatsoever.Taking it down to the simplest way of expressing the deficiency in structure ,
Who reviews Wilder's performance either now or in the future ?
Not the owners - they've married him.
And anyway , they've already proved they're clueless.
Not the only UK based Director - Bettis - they're old pals FFS.
He has free reign to do whatever he likes and give coaching & fitness & scouting jobs to whoever he likes.
There is no constructive criticism , let alone effective control.
He can't abide either.
It's pretty obvious from his interviews in which nothing is ever his fault.
Whilst accepting that he loves the club , that's not the job unfortunately.
Now lets see how long Rosenior has a job."I take full responsibility and accountability "...Liam rosenior after losing Saturday at Everton..not something we,re ever likely to hear from Wilder..
Not long the rate Chelsea are going. Now lets see how long Rosenior has a job.
Hello Captain Hindsight!Should have gone for carrick or Edward's last June, I’d even try for Lampard when cov sack him half way through next season.
i wanted carrick silent and posted that on this forum after a good start where he stabilised us were now seing the wilder that failed at boro and watford hes not going to take us any further real long shot and know i will be ridiculed on here but rosenior isnt going to last much longer at chelsea i would love us to bring him in chelsea was just too big a job for himHello Captain Hindsight!
We have to be realistic....My wish would be Newcastle sack Eddie Howe and we bring him in along with Tindall.Give them two full seasons at least to change the club.
I would ask everyone where do you want our club to play?
Yoyo club
Top six challenging in the championship
Mid table premiership
We have to be realistic in what we want
According to him after the Wrexham game "I don't wanna go out of the back door and I never have""I take full responsibility and accountability "...Liam rosenior after losing Saturday at Everton..not something we,re ever likely to hear from Wilder..
They probably like a drink.According to him after the Wrexham game "I don't wanna go out of the back door and I never have"
If brooks dosent get sold il be shocked because I just think wilder Dosent fancy him, he must have said brooks about 10 times in the interview, not Andre, not brooksy but brooks, but certain players, gus, Patrick, Tommy, sydie etc get called by their first names, I wonder why??![]()
I’m not a fan by any means, but I’m not calling for him to go now or at the end of the season.
Really, next season is set up perfectly for him and has a number of parallels with 2016. A squad in need of a major overhaul and not having loads of money to spend on it beyond what he can generate from player sales. That’s what he’s supposed to be good at and this will be when we get to see whether any of the Wilder Mk1 magic is still there in a broadly comparable set of circumstances to when he first came in, the first time in the last 10 years we have been in such a situation.
It will go one of two ways. Either we will be looking like contenders or he will be gone before Christmas with only a few months left on his contract. And I can’t see any sort of rush from the owners to extend his contract at this point, the clock is ticking and the jury is very much out.
It will be fascinating to see how it all develops. At least being a Blade is never dull.
If we're playing fantasy manager yep Eddie Howe is beyond us I admit, but I suppose there are managers out there who would excited a few.We have to be realistic....
Then mentions Eddie howe ffs

Let's say the Board announced Thomas Frank was taking over as manager for example , it might get the expectancy level up a bit ..![]()
I take your point but we're very wary of foreign managers , rather have an English manager like Thomas FrankMight sound a bit random but what about Guilherme Ramos or Micky Collins promoting them from the coaching set-up

One thing you get from Wilder is honesty. In the post match interview Wilder raised a couple of points he needed to address including fitness of team, youth of team and defence frailties. I am sure he sees what we see and these will be top of the list ready for next season.
If we were ambitious and wanted to try and roll the dice with a big money manager spend Enzo Maresca, is about, although the chance of him being at Bramall Lane is highly unlikely

Not like he’s not said that before as he scuttled out the back door with a carrier bag stuffed with green stuff"I don't wanna go out of the back door and I never have"
If Thomas Frank was announced, it would be the ultimate coup of all time.If we're playing fantasy manager yep Eddie Howe is beyond us I admit, but I suppose there are managers out there who would excited a few.

Brentford have a technical board and have dealt with losing their talisman manager and best players just fine.Notts forest - 4 managers this season (so far)
Tottenham Hotspurs - 3 managers this season (so far)
Both clubs have a DOF.
How has flipping managers/DOF's benefitted either club?
Not arguing with your basic point, it's your opinion, which is fine. However, can you really call 1 year in prem and avoiding the drop to be "stable success"? We avoided the drop first season back in PL.Brentford have a technical board and have dealt with losing their talisman manager and best players just fine.
Brighton change their manager every couple of years and still manage to bring through a conveyor belt of talent and perform way above their level.
Sunderland & Leeds have a technical board and have cracked the code to building a strong championship club that can beat the drop in the premier league.
There are many more examples of it working than of it not working. Provide one example where the manager being the ‘club’ manager and running the whole thing via and old boys network has brought stable success?
