God's country ...... Rovrum!
Anyone get to hear what those pesky Sky pundits said about us post match?

Lucky?

Deserved it?

We’ll struggle in this league?

Owt positive?

Presenter liked us.

So did Jamie Redknapp

Sourness not convinced yet

Ashley Cole doesn't rate us

Jamie Redknapp insightful and complementary. Souness clearly doesn’t like the fact that we’re even in the Premier League, Ashley Cole May as well have stayed at home.
Cole's understanding for what was happening for our goal was laughable, and then he says he wants to be a coach - lets hope fat Frank wants him again

Moved straight on to the 'big match' only Redknapp had anything positive to say about us. The Souness and Cole had no interest in our match and nothing positive to say about us.

That's a big positive. I wouldn't like us to play how Souness liked his teams to play.

We had Ian Wright and Michael Owen in the Singapore studio. Both had us down to lose but were extremely complementary at the end. Only downer was Ugo Ehiogu on the commentary team who couldn’t say a decent word about us. Jim Proudfoot kept putting him in his place though.
I think there's a valid reason for a lack of any comments from Ugo to be fair

That is impressive, the bloke has been dead for two years.

(R.I.P Ugo)

Not surprised he couldn’t say a decent word about us. Be very surprised, nay stunned, if he said anything at all!

Yep, pretty shambolic and neither
Cole not Souness really gave a shit.

Souness called us Sheffield.
Cole couldn’t even talk through the goal.

Redknapp was extremely professional and very complimentary to our now famous style of play (overlapping centrehalves).
No other analysis really

Cole didn't look particularly bothered at half time in the 'big match' either.

Abridged version of Sky prematch coverage:
And coming up next ..Frank Lampard's Chelsea host Leicester City
Cuts to VT of Leicester bus pulling up in car park.
etc

There should be a system for grading these so called experts. Some are clearly rocking up and doing no more research than looking at the matchday programme five minutes before they go on air. Ashley Cole must have banked neary ten grand for this afternoon's 'work'. He must be laughing his fucking socks off the prick.

We're not relevant to their lot yet. They're only interested in the self serving celebrity circus of the top 6.

Long may it continue, let's stay under the radar.

Said very little before a d even less afterwards. UTMB

No 'in studio' build up for us, it was all a prepared VT at our ground, with a reporter sent out. Not given the importance.

Presenter and Redknapp complimentary, when presenter was gushing over Lundstram Sourness asked him what “his input into his development was” takin the piss, presenter replied “social skills”! Fuckin brilliant.

Cole came across like a spice head, wouldn’t be out of place in Barnsley town centre
Sourness hated the fact we dared to be In the PL, even more so that we won, could barely utter a word

Seeing us in the prem is amazing, closely ran by seein the institutionalised pundits hating every minute that we dare to gatecrash their party.

What I don’t get is why so many are having a pop? Villa have been welcome back with open arms, teams like Udders and Cardiff get welcomed like you let your 8 yr brother play fottie with you and your teenage mates. Us, were like the local scrubber with VD who walks into the local boozer - fuck em, hope they grow a pair in May and apologise.

was Ernest Needham the pitchside reporter?
