Burton will bottle it and finish 3rd and play them in the semi, meaning the winner of the 4th v 5th play off is guaranteed promotion.

Typical Blades, we will the nearly men again. A terrible season, with a good run at the end. This will allow Adkins to put his usual spin on things, allowing him to say things along the lines of, we've not got where we want to be, however this run shows everythings now going to be brilliant next season. At some point he will probably try and gloss over how poorly he has performed and turn it around to how great he has been to get us perforrming for a few games, when its probably too late.
Its funny how these players have been hopeless all season until the pressures off. They have displayed not only a lack of ability, but a lack of desire and capacity to be able to cope with pressure, when required to do so. They are performing now the pressure is off, or is it because contract decisions are looming. I believe we will finish seventh, missing out by a point or on goals scored. The good finish to hte season should not mean that Adkins is allowed to convince fans by his positive spin, that this has been anything other than another season of failure, if we are not promoted.

Time for everyone at the club to start pulling in the right direction now and get us out of this league

I would happily release every player on the books and recruit only players who have the heart and desire to play in front of a demanding crowd at a club where the expectations of most fans are to put in 100 percent every week
