What would you say being 6th in League One is the equivalent of then, for the 2004 Warnock team in the Championship for example?

How can you compare it? Tell me. How do you get to 18th for example?

The way I see it: 6th in L1 = unacceptable without being outrageous. Being 18th in the Championship around that time would've been similar, if anything not as bad. Personal opinion obviously but I would've thought most of us wouldn't be too far apart on this.

2001/2 we finished 13th in his second full season, a drop of three places. A higher league yes but with higher league players. Currently many want NW to replace Adkins when he's not had one full season with his own team yet Warnocks initial seasons were no better.

There is no equivalent. At that time we were a second tier team with a second tier budget and second tier players. Now we're a third tier team with third tier players and a third tier budget. Where we feel we should be as a club, or what we see as acceptable is irrelevant.
