On paper it's down for a high scoring game, they've conceded 15, we've conceded 12, so I'm going 4-2 to the Blades

I wouldnt say no to a repeat of last time we played them when there defence fell apart.

Although i can't see it being as easy as last time BUT i think we can just about get a win from this.

Im just going to sum today's performance up in one word - crap.

first 20minutes southampton didn't get a look in.

The football in general was crap.....Hendrie was DIRE!

Had most of the ball but didn't do anything with it.

Only Geary and Cahill looked ok today I reckon.

Only plyers I reted today were Geary & Stead.
Felt sorry for Beattie, was hard done by all afternoon and loked really frustrated.
Hendrie was especially (sp) bad today, and Gillespe looked about as intesested as.
Can someone teach cahill to pass in the air, he had lots of chances to play mid to high balls down the wings and opted to play it along the floor to players who had markers near them.

Exactly theres nowt there at all not even the slightest bit the ball is lumped from the back towards BT/stead headed down and then everyone stands off it - "WTF is this round thing best kick it out too dangerous" as Monty might say and thats that move over - or win free kick and pass it straight to them who run straight back at us again and again

Squinny seemed to come infield a lot today which left us with no width, in the Beattie article in the telegraph yesterday, Robson said he would play with wingers and get the ball into the box. surely he should be encouraging/ordering! players to go wide and get the balls into the box
