Good signing if this comes off. I just hope it isn't a COG scenario where we chase him for months, have him for a handful of games before he leaves back to his parent club.

He will need time to settle and find his fee. He hasn't played at this level for 5 years and he's not as young as he was when he last did. He's also only played 1 game this season so is going to need to work on his match fitness. we can't expect an instant fix with him, which means it's all the more important that we have him tied down for the season but the way the emergency loan window works we won't be able to.

It still doesn't solve the huge problem with our defence but it is a start on making up for insufficient recruitment in summer.
