What exactly is Ezequiel Schelotto replacing Dean Hammond for? To sit in the stands and watch the games every week and train with the reserves like Hammond probably has been doing for the past 6 months.....good old Mike, puts 2 and 2 together and makes 5.

Seen the bloke play in Italy for Verona Cheivo . Think he's been on loan about 5 times in Serie A and B. He may well be without a club at the moment , but is a squad player , and a poor one at that . Couldnt be bothered who Leicester bring in , as long as we get the Hammond saga deal over the line , and bring in much needed quality and leadership to the side . The stumbling block could have been the written agreement , that we will sign him permanently, and his personal terms . Adkins is not daft .

The easiest comparison I can think of is Cambiasso. Tough tackler, hard worker, good organiser and proficient technically. A defensively minded Box to Box midfielder, I'd say.

Ha ...... sound great, perfect even ...... however, I believe he's over 5ft 4in tall and can look after himself in a "thuggish" midfield so regrettably, he won't fit into our slow, weak, diminutive midfield model
