True but he could also end up being like Danny Ings (another old player with a really good top level pedigree)
…..in that he’s often injured and too slow for 2nd tier level.

Grbic has gone. The one they're trying to shift is Ukaki; Zätterström doesn't count as he was 20 on January 1st. I have to confess that I didn't realise that we were forced to name any player in the squad rather than leaving spaces.

My one crumb of comfort is that one thing Ayew is good at is playing with his back to goal and holding it up to give time for the midfield to get forward & support. However, the last thing we need is another non scoring forward.

Indeed. When I looked at the current Burnley squad on Transfer Market they already had more than 25 players who would be classed as seniors even before they signed Vardy. They will have just left a slot in their list of 25 open for if they signed him.
