Yes I do. You do realise that when you come to this mutual agreement to terminate a contract early, you then have to pay someone else as well to manage the team.
 
Also, need to shift a player out of the squad that CW inherited...

I’ll reserve my judgement until he’s played a few. I was wrong on Bamford and I hope I am again, but I can’t see how this can turn into any form of success.

Yes, it’s a free but his wages will be relatively high still.

It’s just another example of short-termism (that doesn’t really present an obvious short term benefit).

Yes. However your wording was making the implication that Wilder would somehow be making money he's not entitled to
 
That Cristobal Wilderez did a terrible job during the window but luckily we have just the man to pick up the pieces.

It's a mark of how shit Google is these days, and how much the Premier League has poisoned the well, that there are dozens of articles about this but they are all only interested in top-flight relegations since 1992.

Going against alot of the grain from above here but...

We need more options up top and he might be a useful one if we can get something out of him like what he has produced over his career.
He may be a good foil for the side in terms of hold up and bringing players into play. Which is what we need a bit of.

I'm not backing him to do well I'm just open to giving him a go. I'd only want to see a contract though through to Jan or end of season for now given his age.

Several seasons ago this forum and the fanbase was doing it's nut in when we missed out on Waghorn and signed Didsy.
Sometimes the signings you least expect end up being worthwhile. If he signs give him a chance.
 
He’s the Danny Ings replacement we’ve been after. Doherty has sorted Ben Mee’s slot out. Kalvin and Jairo solved a massive problem of actually having to look elsewhere by just re-signing.

We don’t need to replace the promising attacking players, just the 30+ injured cloggers.

Has he played alongside Cannon at Leicester in a competitive fixture?
 
I can't believe Wilder is still pushing the "need experience" narrative. He talks about the likes of Burrows (24 y.o, 200+ career apps) and Cooper (26 y.o, 200+ career apps) as if they are first season pros.

We have more experience than the majority of sides in the league. What we desperately lack (and have for years) is athleticism.

I just can't get my head round how he hasn't cottoned onto that, having witnessed it first hand in our Prem seasons and against the top sides in this division.

Honestly, it's negligent bordering on thick

We have no pace or athleticism. We are as slow as fuck

Had a quick look and that answer is no.

He signed the season we came down for Leicester. Whilst Cannon went on loan to Stoke. We then signed Cannon in Jan.

That season in the Prem when Leicester went down he scored 5 in 30 matches.
Look at his overall goalscoring output and its not super high. But I suppose you have to bear in mind that until last season he's had 10 seasons in the Prem. Playing for sides who are usually fighting off relegation (Palace).

From memory he's the sort of player who will score a worldie but miss a sitter. But on his day can cause problems for oppositions.
Off his day he can look dreadful, like alot of players.

I wouldn't say we have none of it.

But I'd like more of it. But a quick or strong player without any attributes and you just have a team of Ollie Burkes or Darius Hendersons.

It will help when Seriki and One are back. I don't think Ayew is slow mind you even for his age.
