Wilder has had his day and is now nothing more than a ‘yes’ man … tactically inept , won’t hold players accountable , happy to pick up a wage… he was found at Watford and Borough who both got rid sharpish…
Our owners have no clue when it comes to football and we only need to look over at S6 to see where that ends up
70% of playing squad don’t want to be here or are gonna be sold …
Unfortunately we are now in the eye of the perfect storm … it’s gonna get a whole lot worse before it gets better …
League 1 beckons
Currywurst? Soooo good.
Managed decline of the squad. Not good enough.See enough in this first 45 to tell anyone who knows anything this:
Unless there’s significant upgrades
In mindset
In tactics
In coaching
In expected standard
In players on the pitch
It’s gonna be a long hard season that’s tough watch
Birmingham will rip through us first game of season.
Absolutely spot on!Perfect pre season friendly to get us ready for the season ahead. Couldn't have gone any better giving the whiners all they need to be constantly whining all next fucking season.
Think I missed a few and the game wasn't good but fuck me some of you little bitches need to find a new hobby. It was pre season, a fucking run around and the biggest thing to moan about is the lack of signings. We all know we need players, most of us know where we need them but fucking crying over a nil nil draw is a measure of the modern football fan sadly. I want it all, I want it now...
- All the Wilder out boys are already giving it some. Apparently he doesn't know what he's doing, never has done and he should only be measured on his failings.
- Cannon's in the firing line already, thank goodness the keeper saved that shot today or that would really have pissed off the masses.
- Sydie is still rubbish (he's actually really good) and we should bin him off for 2 million.
- Chong's fucking wank, just played in the World Cup but we need to ship him back to Luton on a free.
- Today's game was really boring, no one got injured the week before the season so what a set of fannies they must be not going mental in a friendly.
UTBFTP![]()
He is uncoachable - thick as two short planks - his main defect is his lack of any "football brain"On the other hand he might just be not very good.
Interview:
I know the feeling, I'm the same with some of the posters on here! Can't bear to listen to him anymore
So don't. Simple really. Can't bear to listen to him anymore
IndeedSo don't. Simple really.
Lots of empty seats where the computer showed they had been sold. Puzzling.
This is always the way I look at it.Let’s keep it in perspective. It was a friendly with nothing riding on it. And the transfer window is open for a while yet. There will be ins and outs.
A legitimate time to judge will be after 10 games. If we are still looking slow and predictable and lacking in pace, power, height and flair then questions should absolutely be asked of the manager. But until then, there’s the benefit of the doubt and I’ll be keeping my powder dry in case I’m pleasantly surprised.
The fact that Campbell & Cannon are next to useless as no.9s means we are over reliant on Bamford.I went yesterday. First half, we were absolute wank. Second half, we worked hard, closed down well and were generally much better. With Bamford, we score yesterday. I can't remember Vfl having anything in the second half. Bochum had mostly outplayed Swansea days earlier. I like Peck but I thought we looked more balanced once he'd gone off. I must give O'hare a shout out. Blimey, the bloke never stops running/working. The Vfl fans I spoke to after the game, praised the support. A great turnout for a friendly. Lots of empty seats where the computer showed they had been sold. Puzzling.
I thought I read/heard that the corner was sold out, then they opened up the section behind the goal for sale, so that wasn’t the sold out part?Yeah it was strange, there must have been hundreds of empty seats for an end that was officially sold out. Surely that many can't have had delayed flights or trains or got lost.
The Twin City Mini Tournament. You could sponsor it Swiss.Would love this to be a regular preseason game. Invite Bochum back to Sheffield next season and even better if we could also get Shaktar Donetsk involved to make the Twinned city trio
2 weeks mate… 2 weeks … you summed it up thereOut of interest who are the 70% of today’s squad that will either be sold or want to leave and how you actually know this. Or maybe you just made that up.
I think everyone can clearly see work still needs doing with the squad in a few areas, but to have that outlook 2 weeks before a ball is even kicked in the league is ridiculous.
Exactly mate some with secreted glasses on… it’s a relegation scrap this season regardless of signingsManaged decline of the squad. Not good enough.
Our run, out fight, out play. Whatever happened to that?!
In order to positively effect change you have to acknowledge the current realityJust an ask from me. Dont ever volunteer to work for the Samaritans.
The 2 sections on the corner sold out a couple of days before kick-off . They then opened up the final section behind the goal .I thought I read/heard that the corner was sold out, then they opened up the section behind the goal for sale, so that wasn’t the sold out part?
