Those fans chanting Wilder's name at the end are obviously morons, he wants sacking after that absolute disgrace.

I tuned in to watch a game of pre season football and they bored me, it's unacceptable. We should be entitled to exciting football, even in a meaningless game.

Improved second half but couldnt have been any worse than the first. Reidewald and Peck together are not the answer. At least when Rothwell and Arblaster came on we began to move the ball forward. Canon is not an isolated target man. Chong showed a few good touches and Hamer showed interest second half. Good to see RND get a few minutes at the end.

The pattern of play with Peck and Reidiwald was slow and laborious. We at least upped the tempo when they were substituted. Bochum were a better test than the dross we've played so far pre season so in that respect a good work out but questions remain about the lack of height and physicality in the team.

A terrible game but a clean sheet at least. Positives for me were Cooper looking sharp again and Baptiste growing in stature. Donovan also looks to have some potential. We’re desperate for creativity and drive from midfield … and some awareness, pace and power up front (Cannon has none of those attributes).
Souttar would add some strength and leadership… and improve our confidence with set pieces at both ends.
Whatever recruitment we do has to be matched by the existing players showing much more urgency and desire to take responsibility. Far too many times they take the easy sideways option or cut inside rather than taking their man on. We look like a team that knows it’s susceptible to pace and is frightened to commit too much as a result.

“Entitled”

For fucks sake….🤮

Tired of seeing no identity, style of play, lack of tactics, no pace. Wilder what has Covid done to you? It’s like your football brain went to mush!
We've gone from one of the most innovative tactics and systems that was talked about across Europe and programmed in to the FIFA game, to having absolutely no tactics or systems whatsoever.

A lot of our players (Cannon is the prime example) desperately need coaching and instructions but they aren't getting anything.

Hmm….Preseason and all that, but this has been a tough watch. I’m not a fan of the moaning at each other and flinging arms in the air. Now’s the time to be putting it right, not blaming. Come on Blades, there’s better to come.
They've had a run of games to put it right. We are miles off it and there are no pre-season games left.
I admire your optimism but where's the evidence we will get better?

Is peck really that good?

First half he tried a through ball with the outside of his right boot, he tries it way too often for something that hardly ever comes off.

When it comes off it looks good, but so what. Pass it wi ya fucking left and it might go further than 2 yards.

Jack off all trades, master of none that lad. Prove me wrong.

I don’t recall pre season games being worth watching for decades.

Let’s keep it in perspective. It was a friendly with nothing riding on it. And the transfer window is open for a while yet. There will be ins and outs.

A legitimate time to judge will be after 10 games. If we are still looking slow and predictable and lacking in pace, power, height and flair then questions should absolutely be asked of the manager. But until then, there’s the benefit of the doubt and I’ll be keeping my powder dry in case I’m pleasantly surprised.

You’re right… I didn’t see anything to be optimistic about.

A point that I seem to make each season !
I have little interest in football generally until the league season begins and then cannot get really into it until September.

But this is exactly what we said last season. We basically threw away the first 7-8 games of the season and couldn't make up the ground we lost.
All CW's comments indicated this season would be different and we would hit the ground running from game 1 this time. Can you honestly say on today's performance that will happen?
