Which was sad seen as Knilly was instrumental in the the great tactic we had.Knilly didn’t have much of a say, no one but one man does
Honestly Wilder is not gonna manage Utd to any success.

At ten games in we should have a fairly clear view of the direction in which our season is headed. And it is still plenty early enough for a season to be rescued, as Norwich and Southampton demonstrated last season. And ourselves, for that matter. It would also be a big test of the ambition of the owners.A point that I seem to make each season !
I have little interest in football generally until the league season begins and then cannot get really into it until September.
I’m not going to predict anything from a pre season friendly halfway through the transfer window. But this is exactly what we said last season. We basically threw away the first 7-8 games of the season and couldn't make up the ground we lost.
All CW's comments indicated this season would be different and we would hit the ground running from game 1 this time. Can you honestly say on today's performance that will happen?
On the other hand he might just be not very good. We've gone from one of the most innovative tactics and systems that was talked about across Europe and programmed in to the FIFA game, to having absolutely no tactics or systems whatsoever.
A lot of our players (Cannon is the prime example) desperately need coaching and instructions but they aren't getting anything.
He isn't very good. Regardless of coaching blah blah blah- a good footballer would have shown something by now. He is neither one thing or the other, totally ineffectual. I would offload for 1 million, bound to be another set of idiots like us.On the other hand he might just be not very good.
Less than two years later we finished 6th in the old First Division. It’s a series of mainly well meaning but unfortunately shite owners who have done for us, nothing to do with any gods.By the way, speaking of Gods,it isn't the Football Gods we've upset - it's the Cricket Gods who unfortunately more powerful - witness our demise since August 1973.
Fair comment .Didn't watch any of it but just want to say that Cannon is crap
Out of interest who are the 70% of today’s squad that will either be sold or want to leave and how you actually know this. Or maybe you just made that upWilder has had his day and is now nothing more than a ‘yes’ man … tactically inept , won’t hold players accountable , happy to pick up a wage… he was found at Watford and Borough who both got rid sharpish…
Our owners have no clue when it comes to football and we only need to look over at S6 to see where that ends up
70% of playing squad don’t want to be here or are gonna be sold …
Unfortunately we are now in the eye of the perfect storm … it’s gonna get a whole lot worse before it gets better …
League 1 beckons
Radlers? Is that German for ‘Ladies of the night’.Great day out tbf, me and CrookesBlade sat in a Bochum beergarden next to the ground with a couple of radlers. Shite game, but would do again.
Quite but all we had to do was get a result at Birmingham to be in Europe. Failed miserably and the trajectory as a whole has been down ever since. I blame the Cicket Gods.Less than two years later we finished 6th in the old First Division. It’s a series of mainly well meaning but unfortunately shite owners who have done for us, nothing to do with any gods.
Actually, it’s German for cyclist. They’ve probably met up with Blade on a Bike, who must be quite thirsty by now, a Radler drinking a RadlerRadlers? Is that German for ‘Ladies of the night’.
You could hook Cannon up to a 24 hour recording of Shearer/R9 footage, but he’s got the intelligence of a candle so it’s pointless. The managers also said he shouldn’t need to coach players, so the chance of improvement is slim. We've gone from one of the most innovative tactics and systems that was talked about across Europe and programmed in to the FIFA game, to having absolutely no tactics or systems whatsoever.

I don’t disagree Nick, but the starter sets you up for the main course I always find.At ten games in we should have a fairly clear view of the direction in which our season is headed. Great 3 days. Crap game. Meh.
Only watched on utube . !st half dire but we were better than them in 2nd.
I thought Arblaster and Chong ! made us tick
Doherty age notwithstanding knitted us together on the RHS.
Campbell looked lively.
O'Hare pretty good.
Defence crying out for a big B++++++d CH though.
And in his cameo RND looked good.
So, the season may well be better than many predict.
Obviously a lot depends on the Window but let us hope the Gods favour us for a change.
By the way, speaking of Gods,it isn't the Football Gods we've upset - it's the Cricket Gods who unfortunately more powerful - witness our demise since August 1973.
Can we stop comparing ourselves to those scrubbers?Could be worse we could have been woooped 4-0 by fourth division Oldham like our noisy neighbours 'have been'.
Interview:
In Cannon's case, he probably is but he's just too thick to take it in. Did he win a raffle to be a professional footballer?A lot of our players (Cannon is the prime example) desperately need coaching and instructions but they aren't getting anything.
