We don't know that. I would be very surprised if he's happy with £8m for himWhy would Wilder walk? He's got rid of a player he didn't like. Oh he played him off and on, but he didn't like him as an individual.
First time in 30+ years I haven't renewed.I didn't renew either. Been giving my ticket away for night matches and now I'm retired I want more weekends away. Very underwhelmed last 2 seasons so no regrets. I will pick some games to attend, senior prices shouldn't be too bad.
Please provide an example of when this has ever happened in the history of UnitedNot the disaster some will make it out to be. Heard 10 million, we have to sell players, that’s a fair price for a good but ultimately inconsistent player. As long as we replace with good quality then I’m fine with this.
I hate wilder
You just know this is going to lead to the return of BBD.
Absolutely.Furious about this. Selling one of our best prospects / players who is a local lad to another championship rival is a joke.
Norwich don’t have parachutes and are in a similar position to us!! Makes no sense
We better be spending the cash on exciting players.
Currently zero excitement for this season
He’s as much to blame if not moreUnforgivable again. But our owners are a bunch of charlatans so not actually much of a surprise. I'd walk if I were Wilder.
Fucking parasites running the club
They could give him the full 8, multiply it by 10, and he'd spunk it on fucking dross£8 mill + add ons and a sell on isn’t to shabby but it’s how much wilder will see of it that matters
We don't know that. I think this is the owners doing. Keeping up their track record of every decision being a complete car crashHe’s as much to blame if not more
If that's case Norwich needs to sign SerikiThis feels revisionist, no offence.
He has huge potential and he was one of our only exciting attacking outlets. That partnership with Seriki was blossoming.
Tom Cannon?Very hit-or-miss, but had the qualities to be a match-winner on his day, & he's a Blade too. Bizarre, I can't think of the last time we signed a top rival player for a transfer fee in the same league.
If this is anything to go by it could be a long season
£8 mill + add ons and a sell on isn’t to shabby but it’s how much wilder will see of it that matters
We do know that and yeah, bringing wilder back being the biggest car crashWe don't know that. I think this is the owners doing. Keeping up their track record of every decision being a complete car crash
Yeah we better hope Blaster doesn’t split up with his other daughter
Therein lies the problem of not having a DOF structure. The club is in a financial mess. No parachute payments and a pending court case overseas not forgetting the owners still owe a considerable amount to the Prince. So it should be no surprise assets are being sold off. The problem is when you do not have a competent off field structure that delegates recruitment and sales to experienced football men. One good championship season and Brookes will be worth double the alleged £10 million fee. Norwich are on the up. They have the off field structure and £20 million in the pocket from the sale of Sargeant. Add in Clement an experienced manager who has managed in the champions league and they are potentially one of the favourites for the title. Why wouldn't Brooks want to go to an ambitious club.Wilder very much back in charge.
Kalvin Phillips coming in, Riedewald released.
Andre Brooks sold to Norwich.
Probably Seriki next.
Wilder wants his boys club .
Brooks put a post on Instagram recently referencing a lack of appreciation. It was quite clear what he was referring to, we saw it all last season.
It's not everyone's opinion, but we need to move to a DoF model or similar. We can't keep letting Wilder and his mates run all things football.
It feels a shame to me, this. It doesn't feel like the right time to sell Brooks & Seriki, they're progressing very well and one more season (probably) would've seen their value increase significantly.
Ye definitely worse than appointing Sellès. You know nothing about it its just made up in your head.We do know that and yeah, bringing wilder back being the biggest car crash
