Just watching the Old Firm game and Trusty is having a nightmare. Terribly weak challenge in the penalty area on the first Rangers goal, inexplicably failed to make any attempt to intercept the Rangers goalscorer on the second. Celtic crowd not happy at all.

I still think that getting £6m for him from Celtic after his awful Premier League season for us was an absolutely incredible piece of business.

it is 1 of the worst bits of defending. i think ive ever seen. ive havent seen a defender willfully let a opposition player have a free run at goal. since nyron nosworthy was swallowed by the bermuda triangle in stoppage time v hull on boxing day 2010

Trusty the process! 🤣

Along with grbic being behind them and thats why we broke the goals conceeded record.
Curiosity got the better of me. I'd managed to erase Grbic from my mind, but thought I'd see how he was doing.

At Fatih Karagumruk, bottom of the Turkish Super Liga. He's managed one clean sheet in the league this season, though got a yellow card that game.

watch Robinson v mahrez at Wembley and get back to me

Honestly didn’t mind him when he was here, no world beater but was steady enough imo. Watching the Celtic game today though, he’s abysmal, looks like he’s never played the game before.

I'll never forget the interview he gave just after signing for us at the start of Hecky's PL season. Got asked what he thinks we can achieve this season and said the target was to win the Premier League.

I knew that day we'd signed a complete moron
He missed out one word….. ‘Scottish’.

Fk knows what Arsenal saw in him...
Physically he has the right profile for a top centre half - sadly thats where it stops. Likes of Arsenal can afford to take a gamble in the hope he develops the ability to match his physique. And then even if he doesn't they still make money

Horrible player for us.

Poor in the air. Poor with the ball. Poor positionally. Default setting, panic stricken.

His first instinct whenever an attacker moved the ball toward him was usually to drop off another yard and a half—suicidal defending.

I’d say he was the worst defender we’ve ever had, relative to the level we were playing at … were it not for the fact that Luke Thomas was in the same side.

FML. What a season.

Imagine him at LCB and Burrows at LB?!?! Teams would be pumping it down that channel all day long .

Mark Blount was the worst defender we’ve ever had relative to the level we were playing at (Championship) and nobody else even comes close.

Agree with all of this but also add that he was painfully slow.

He looked like he had all the physical attributes; tall, imposing, athletic. In reality he was weak, slow, technically poor and no aggression whatsoever.

He's in at LCB, LB or CB in my worst ever Sheffield United XI.
