In general, the way a quite lot of people in the UK dress is pretty mental.

If the sun is out, regardless of temperature, some people think it means shorts and t-shirt.

Even worse though is when you see adults all wrapped up in expensive down jackets and hats and they’re with their kids who they’ve allowed/not been responsible for, making them wear similarly suitable clothing.

No matter the season , temperature etc … since 1973 I have been wearing high waister , Bell Bottomed ( how I got my user name) Brutus jeans held up with a black , red and gold Snake Belt .

A Blue and Yellow Star jumper , Maroon platforms , Alvin Stardust gloves and Slade Socks .

As a result I’ve never ever felt the cold or the heat .

In the summer it's cleaner as they can't dump dumps in. In the winter where it's faster moving however...

As a resident of Lanzarote, I was in Holmfirth in November. To coin a phrase, ' It was Fucking freezin!' and yet there were young ladies walking round the bars there wearing LESS than I've seen on the beach here!
