It’s -3 feels like -8 over here. What’s the weather like with you? I’m very jealous!
It's actually been the worst December/January since we've been here .
It's between 16/18° during day and getting down to 13° at night time.
We must have acclimatised because we are finding it cold!!! I know . I know.
This has been the first winter I've felt like wearing a jumper in the house at night time. We've no heating.
Mrs DJ has been wrapped up in layers. On NYE she actually went out in a fur coat! She was STILL cold!
Plus we've had a lot ( for here) of rain.
Normally the patio doors are wide open until we go to bed. We have had the doors shut now for six weeks all day.
It's a hard life. Someone has to do it.

No matter the season , temperature etc … since 1973 I have been wearing high waister , Bell Bottomed ( how I got my user name) Brutus jeans held up with a black , red and gold Snake Belt .

A Blue and Yellow Star jumper , Maroon platforms , Alvin Stardust gloves and Slade Socks .

As a result I’ve never ever felt the cold or the heat .

FACT

If you have some platform heels, you should be on the pitch scrapping, scarf tied round your wrist, windmilling at anything that moves.

My rule is shorts April - early October, although office norms dictate I have to wear jeans more often than I’d like during that period of time.

I know a bloke who wears 3 quarter lengths all year round. I refuse to believe it’s comfortable in near 0 conditions.
I have a 15°c cut off. It started with cycling, at least that was when I noticed it. I’d switch over from winter gear to shorts at 15°c and above.

I do the same off the bike, since I rarely ride in temps below 15°c now.

But it’s also my switch over from red to white wine and I never drink Guinness in the warmer temps.

Only a few years ago I would be out on the bike in this weather. Stick to the turbo trainer now...fckin nesh!

I’ve always been proper nesh in the upper body yet temperature-immune in the bottom half. I’m fine to wear shorts and even flip flops in the freezing cold and walk up to the local shop, but I’d have to have a big coat on. Anything less than 21oC and the upstairs is freezing.

I have no explanation. Maybe it’ll come out in the coroners report
