When they said "you're moving to Sheffield United aren't you?" he sort of scoffed and replied "who? No, I've definitely not been in touch with them!" or something along those lines.

That was the pigs I think ,we handled a lot of the paperwork flying about for that transfer , it was dealt with by Howard Culley who was a solicitor and happened to be on the board at the piggery.

Next manager Les Ferdinand made me laugh his odds went from 50/1 down to 13/8 overnight last year.

One of the players i remember the most was Hamilton Ricard did he end up at Middlesborough? I read all sorts about McCabe offering everything to sign but as usual didn't get him, it seemed to go on for months.
