We can lose to italy and still make it through,but with montolivo now out it makes our chances of beating italy that bit better.

You weren't one of these what said we (utd)had no chance of beating villa and a few other sides were you.

Actually said we should have given our Neil a big bonus for getting us to the Prem and then got a Prem manager in.

How right you would have been aswell grumps,problem is,that would have cost too much money at the time in mccabe's mind,when in actual fact,would have made us more money in the long run.

Couldn't give a crap about England to be honest. Watching them (us/whatever) play is like watching paint dry.
Every tournament is about trying to cling on to a draw just for the dubious privilege of losing on penalties.
But worse is the racist chav nutters that the team attracts, they're apparently "more English" because they're drunk, on benefits and
have a skinhead haircut. Then there's the horrible xenophobia in the trash tabloids. WW2 was over half a century ago, but you wouldn't notice it if you read The Sun, Mirror or Daily Fail. .

Although I do agree with the waive of optimism surrounding the blades since clough has taken over, I really don't think that promotion next season will come as easy as some have mentioned on here. Coady, Brayford and Maguire along with scougall were arguably are best players during the run from feb onwards with the first three potentially not returning for the start of the new season. They are going to be big boots to fill this summer, and it may take time for the new spine of the team to gel. I suppose we will see what financial clout we have going forward with who we bring in over the coming months. But next season will not be an easy one as some have predicted, let's just hope we get out of this god forsaken league. In clough we trust! UTB

No wizardry youre not allowed to point out that England has a chance of winning that just wont do!!

The fact that a team like Greece won the euros some years ago and shock results go on all the time in all levels of football should be ignored. We are England and we WONT win!! It is perfectly acceptable to believe that Blades have a chance in any football match (and also believing any team who are worse than us in any standard still have a chance of beating us) but extending it the international football? No, only the best teams win and thats final )

Looks like you're going to have to wait until I'm literally dead then because it's already happened in my lifetime.

I've seen England win a world cup, I've never seen United win Div 3, I'll happily settle for making it 1-1 next season.

That exactly sums up why I don't support England. The rank bad manners of booing other countries national anthem is embarrassing to me. I was in Turkey one year when we played the Germans and all the Germans were respectful whilst a number of drunken tattooed cretins swore and booed all the way through the German anthem, so much so that I had a word with them. The fucking Sun and Daily Tory with their chauvinistic headlines bordering on racist is pathetic. I always liked Uruguay since 1966 but gave up on England in the 1980's and adopted Uruguay as my team as they were the bad boys of international football.

Hope England do well for the sake of the country but English morons have spoiled it all for me. Good luck to Jags.
