It’s tiring man, move on. They don’t play for us anymore so stop worrying about what they are doing because it doesn’t affect us whatsoever.

I’m not saying we can’t talk about old players but it’s becoming an every day thing on this forum now comparing our new players to old ones.

When people talk about Billy Sharp and Norwood etc, it’s different because we are happy and congratulating them but with the other players like McBurnie and Moore its just moan moan moan.

Ndaiye - amazing for us, didn’t work at Marseille then back good at Everton

McB and Moore would be the same here as they ever were, and most wanted them gone

The second Sunderland scored that winner at Wembley, there were people on here (and other social media platforms) who were telling Moore to get out of SUFC.

So he goes, and is now scoring goals for Wrexham and all of the sudden people are bemoaning the fact that we let him go.

Yes, we should have signed a replacement at the time, who by the sounds of it, was going to be Mcburnie who turned us down for Hull.

I would take Egan back in a heartbeat, but when Burnley signed him, he was still injured and they were just gambling on him recovering from said injury, which he had done by the time he went to Hull.

Could Egan, Moore and Mcburnie get into our team right now, yes but that doesn't mean we should have kept/re-signed them.

End of the day, they aren't our players anymore and the players who are here now have to work harder for the squad.

What is interesting, particularly in McBurnie’s case, is how many minutes he played for Las Palmas and now for Hull , when he was always either out on his feet after 60 minutes when starting for us, or seen as a shore up the defence substitute for the last 20. We had all that time to get him fit and firing and does beg the question what the hell were/are we doing wrong with our fitness regime.
