No way will he drop down to the championship. Would love him but not a chance.

I don't know so much, he always comes across as really down to earth and I would imagine he's not frightened of taking on a project. I imagine his sacking is more down to his relationship with the interfering fat greek !! and not his coaching ability.
All that said would love to see him here . Unless he fancies a DOF role ??

Realistically the only two choices we have now is Carrick & Rohl who are any good. I don’t think we’d get Dyche with the way he’s talking on podcasts I think he’s expecting another premiership team to give him a go

According to the internet…Nuno is reported to be on £60K a week with potential bonuses of £20K a week = £80K max.
He’ll need quite a large pay rise to tempt him to downgrade from the PL to bottom of the Championship.

Suspect we’ll need to offer him at least £100K a week.
It’s nothing to do with being ambitious….proper owners MUST stay within budget over a 3 year rolling period otherwise we face points deductions.
Next year if we fail to be promoted our Sky money reduces from the current £35million a year down to about £8 million a year.

So the contingency plan is to prepare to massively reduce costs next season…..increasing them would be total madness.
Remember we’ve just paid off Wilder and would also need to pay off Selles contract…hopefully shouldn’t be much but it’s an extra cost.
Put it this way….if we appoint Nuno….we need to worry…. it would be a Chansiri style gamble and the future of our club is put at risk.

Nuno….with Dyche and Cooper will think he still has a good chance of getting a job in the PL….eg West Ham may soon sack their manager.
So all 3 of them would demand a high salary and/ or long contract.
