Can't listen to the audio, can anyone summarise?

  • Thought we deserved to win at Wembley.
  • Loves the club the fans and the togetherness of the team.
  • Wants to stay but said he's not in control because he's still got 3 years on his contract.
  • Very much like he hate going back to Cardiff and would rather drop a few divisions.
  • Thinks we'll have a good chance of going up with or without him.
  • The beard might be coming off. He wants to be remembered for footballing reasons not facial hair. (no danger of that not happening imo)

Was going to post thus myself. Sounds really positive. Talks about the club with passion. UTB

Makes a big point about NC and the togetherness he inspires at his clubs. Hope the Ched thing if true doesn't change that, had a belly full of split fans with Wilson, Weir and King

Not once did I get that he'd deffo drop down two divisions and stay at the lane, yes he says he's fell in love with the place and how good the lads and fans are. But if Cardiff do get rid and a team from the top half of the championship come calling then I wouldn't really expect and don't expect to se him back here next season!

Now I know Mr Brayfords don't grow on trees, but I'm pretty confident that even if he doesn't sign for us, Mr Clough will find another...

Before he shaves he needs to comb it over a big skip. There's enough food in there to fill a food bank.

At least he can see what he would look like when he gets old with his beard.

If Cardiff go down I think we don't have much of a chance since he will become a very useful asset for them, he still a 3 years I think he said left and I don't see Cardiff sticking with Fabio at right back since well he's a bit meh :p.
But if the option came up that we can sign him then we have a good chance.

Not sure about the wanting to stay bit. I found it more ambiguous than that.

Either way he's the best loanee since Glynn Hodges and the best face fur since Hockey.

Yuley, I doubt that he would see it as dropping down two divisions. In just over a year's time, there is a strong likelihood that United and Cardiff are in the same division.

I listened to the audio, JB clearly loves the club and everything about it. What he didn't do is suggest that he'd be prepared to drop down two divisions, which is not to suggest that Clough couldn't persuade him if he became available.

There's a definite feeling that he is deeply appreciative of how the players have made him feel like one of their own, plus the fact that the fans have embraced him all adds to the feeling he has for the club. More than once he commented on the length of his contract with Cardiff, implying that they have the upper hand in where his future might lie.

We'll all interpret what JB had to say in whatever way suits us, but while he was cagey about the future there weren't any negatives that crept into the possibility of returning here. That was about it, he loves the place, the players, goes without saying that he and Nigel have a special bond, and you sense that unless there's a u-turn in attitude from Cardiff he wouldn't want to spend any more time there than he has to.......oh, and he did mention that it is a privilege to wear the red and white of united, good lad John.

As JohnDenver said, the best loan at this club since Glynn Hodges, and we'd take him like a shot if he were free to come here, that's how good he is UTB

The impact he has made for us in a short space of time must have Solskjaer drooling with excitement especially in the Championship.
I'd love to see him stay but think it would take silly money to sign him.

In his first radio interview after signing I got the impression he wasn't bothered about the club specifically - and he as much as said he wouldn't have been there, dropping down two divisions, had it been anyone else managing the club.

There's a marked change since then based on that recent interview. He probably arrived a bit jaded from his Cardiff experience and had been shocked by the level of support he's received since.

Noticed that. I don't think in his wildest dreams that in his career he thought he would become a cult hero. If he goes back which seems very likely he will never forget this time. I love the contribution he's made but I think others have been overshadowed slightly, Harris in particular.
