Is that necessarily a bad thing? We’ve discussed the teams that have spent more than expected this summer are teams who haven’t had parachute payments, Millwall, Coventry, QPR for example haven’t been promoted recently yet are spending some serious money. Maybe a stable footing is a launching pad, it’s whether the fans can stomach it after coming to close last year I supposeI’m sure we’ll get players in but everything so far suggests we’re cutting our cloth for life without parachute payments and with (hopefully) a shot at the play offs as our best hope.
