That goal

It was a fabulous goal, but struggling to think of a worse one than Birmingham’s first.

Also Bindon deflecting a shot past his own keeper for the second consecutive game must also be a record.

One of the great long distance goals of all time by any player at any level .

When he struck it , he not only gave it the exact amount of elevation but also a subtle amount of swerve . This resulted in the situation where their keeper was able to get back far enough to deal with the height of it but completely done by the late movement of the ball .

Absolute world class .

And it didn’t just drop over the line, it hit the net about half way up, so it was still travelling at speed.

He's tried a few of them before hasn't he. Its good that he has the vision to look up and spot the keeper off his line from halfway.

I feel a bit for Bindon, we’d all be incandescent if he didn’t try to block the shots. He’s been very unlucky really.

Bindon played well last night. Very composed, good decision making and cleared his lines when needed.

Difficult to shine when in an inexperienced and chaotic defence.

Sasnauskas has made a few errors and is clearly not yet ready but is all we have available. He has potential but is back- up at best.

Certainly up there for me. Lee Evans with that side-foot volley? Ndiaye's run and finish, against Blackburn was it?

To be fair to them we had a VERY inexperienced back line last night. They were under the cosh for long periods. A relentless Birmingham attack force needed their best forward to break them down.
Not attempting to deflect how poor a performance that was.
But it was a cup game. One in which showed how deficient we are all over the park.
Let's see how committed the new owners are to putting this right.
Im.not holding my breath.

Do feel sorry for Bindon, i know its his deflection for both but hes been unlucky on both of them

We definitely need two experienced championship operators at the back now…I envisage Bindon to be our main backup by the end of the window…
