Half the squad got 70 minutes against Burton, the remainder need 70 minutes too. If they squeeze in another friendly then we'll see our likely starting eleven. Given pre-season is largely about fitness today's starting line is hardly unsurprising.

There's a big opportunity for Cannon and Caceres to impress today. Saying that Cannon has done well in pre-season so far.

Shut up u f in clown. There's no place like a proper match to fine tune how u r going to play in a a match. And if u were st Burton u will realise we r a fair ways away from perfecting Selles new style in match conditions

I imagine that Selles has a good idea of his starting XI, but he strikes me as someone who will deliberately reserve judgement until he's had a good look at everyone and tried different combinations (eg Cannon as the striker). Plus it's Barry's first outing, and there's (presumably) Soumare and others yet to come.

Interesting to see how the Anel Dovy partnership works.

Decent test to see how he copes against L2 opposition as well, maybe even impress enough for a potential loan for game time.

Same with Curtis and Hampson who didn't have particularly good loan spells last season.

Blacker who's played less football than all 3 of them (Curtis, Hampson and Sasnauskas) has already gone on loan into L2.
