I turn 60 on August 11th, my mate is certain that I can get the seniors discount this time round, I thought it would be next year, anybody know?

It would be cheaper to dye your hair purple, pierce your nose and lips several times, roll around in some shit, wear an oversized, hideously patterned jumper and claim student discount.I turn 60 on August 11th, my mate is certain that I can get the seniors discount this time round, I thought it would be next year, anybody know?
Cut off point for 2024 season tickets was " must be 60+ by 1st September 2024" so you should qualify.I turn 60 on August 11th, my mate is certain that I can get the seniors discount this time round, I thought it would be next year, anybody know?

(Come on Daily Mail, I've got to be worth an internship, at least...)

Wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the ways the new owners try and make a little more by raising the age. I think we are one of the last clubs to keep it at 60!
You didn't ask this, but FYI, the price you pay for away tickets is the price bracket you are in at the time you buy them, not when the game is. So any you buy before the start of the season (8th-10th August) would be full adult price, even if the game is after your birthdayI turn 60 on August 11th, my mate is certain that I can get the seniors discount this time round, I thought it would be next year, anybody know?
Post Deleted - as I've realised I'm only adding confusionYou didn't ask this, but FYI, the price you pay for away tickets is the price bracket you are in at the time you buy them, not when the game is. My lad turned 18 part way through his season, so I phoned the ticket office to ask how it affected his away ticket pricing. What I typed above was what they said to me. Away tickets go off your age at the time of the booking. It would also impact any home or away cup and playoff ticket prices, she said.Is that the case? A 60 year old would qualify for a reduced Senior Season Ticket at The Lane. But would have to pay the full adult price for (instance at) Hillsborough, where Senior discount kicks in at 65.
We're "both right". Age bands for away tickets are set by the home club. Once I turned 60, I benefitted from reduced prices at SUFC. But I had to (in the main) wait until I was 65 to benefit from a reduction in away ticket prices. My lad turned 18 part way through his season, so I phoned the ticket office to ask how it affected his away ticket pricing. Wonder how much they will put them up by this season?

And your bank details so we can refund you a £2million inheritanceThanks for your day month and year of birth.
May I ask for your mothers maiden name and first pets name by any chance?
It will be interesting as it’s an opportune moment for the new owners to curry some favour with the support. They may see it differently and want to bring our prices into line with other clubs if they think the opportunity is there to squeeze some extra revenue from fans they see as having historically paid below the odds.Inflation is currently about 3%.
Would love there to be a price freeze but I reckon the increase will be 5% to 10%, surely it can’t be more than 10%.
Compare this to Stoke City, they’ve just announced a season ticket price freeze for the 17th consecutive season.
A blade has asked the basketball team that kemorski is on what he's like and the yanks saying he is big on fan engagement and making the fans feel closer to club and shit so might be wanting to bring prices down.It will be interesting as it’s an opportune moment for the new owners to curry some favour with the support. Deep pockets at Stoke though I suppose. I think + inflation would be about right. In the position again of not knowing which division we’ll be next season which adds to the confusion.
I hope so. Prices for single tickets are insane, coupled with the random kick off times and days it seems like a generation could easily be pushed away.A blade has asked the basketball team that kemorski is on what he's like and the yanks saying he is big on fan engagement and making the fans feel closer to club and shit so might be wanting to bring prices down.
How do you think it feels to be just short of 12 years olderCan confirm. I am 51 weeks older than you and got mine this season

There's a massive gap between pay on the day prices and season ticket. If we go up that will be closed significantly in my opinion. Last time we went up we sold the maximum amount of season tickets we were allowed so everything points to a sizeable price increase. If we don't go up I think they will still go up but not by as much.Wonder how much they will put them up by this season?
Nope, prices in line with home teams pricing structureI’m pretty sure l got concession prices for away games when l reached 60.
Correct as I'm paying £45 quid at the dump ,most clubs are 65 ,a few including us 60Nope, prices in line with home teams pricing structure
I believe they are going on sale March 14thWonder how much they will put them up by this season?
