What is the point of this post?

There is clearly people who enjoy moaning about the team. If you can't see that you are probably one ( I have no idea of your posting history) those are peak bed wetters

Equally I find optimism based on nothing as annoying as you might find people moaning irritating.

Like it or lump it the recent negativity has all been around how poorly we've been playing both home and away, despite results. No one has disputed our league position. Why have they been so wrong to raise this obvious concern? If anyone suggests that everything has been fine then they're deluded. Does this make Deadbat a moaner as his match reports have pretty much echoed this all season? Does that mean he only sees the negative and not the positive?

What is the point of this post?

I'm sure the "bed wetters" could equally find plenty of times we've played badly and people posted "we'll batter these this weekend" and also post a sarcastic "I told you so" smug post when we didn't and played badly, or lost.

I'm not trying to have a personal pop at you, but I hate these pointless rub it in your face posts.

The "bed wetters" were concerned about the awful performances throughout the season and us grinding out undeserved wins against Derby and Portsmouth. They weren't wrong to be concerned and had more reason to be concerned about tonight. They're pessimism was based on what has actually been happening. Any optimism before tonight was based on nothing more than hope and blind faith, as there has been no evidence or hint that we've even been close to putting in a performance like that in weeks. So were the "bed wetters" wrong to be pessimistic about tonight? No. They had more realistic reason to be pessimistic than any unrealistic optimism based on nothing.

So let's not play the boost my ego game please and let us all enjoy the performance and the result and hope this is the start we've literally waited all season for and finally perhaps, we've finally clicked and we'll see more of these performances.

Table at the end of the season is ALL that matters. Nothing more nothing less. spurs have had some entertaining games before injuries hurt then too much but they were never in the title race.

Yes it was, and I never said it wasn't. My point wasn't about tonight, it was about people criticising about others moaning, when a lot of the moaning was just and backed by how we have been playing recently.

No one is criticising tonight's performance or result. It's been a good night all round so everyone is happy.

We were dreadful against Pompey and weren't great in the last few games, a definite dip in form. Noticing that and worrying is fine.

That doesn't account for some of the embarrassing whining, bitching, slagging off of the players and manager and reveling in our potential fall.

Wilder became tactically clueless and needed to go, Cannon a waste of money and written off etc. Those "fans" can get to fuck, none of the context makes the flouncing reasonable.
