We were very poor today….Portsmouth deserved to win comfortably. I think the new players have been thrown in too soon. Clarke, Cannon and Diaz looked lost and unsure of the system. Campbell, Souza and Burrows all off the pace. Much better when we changed it. Peck must start the next game

You obviously don’t know much about Boro. They are the worse finishers in the league.

They play an open attacking game and create plenty of chances every match but they let the opposition have chances too.
The story of the season for Boro is they really struggle to convert chances….altho it would be typical if they suddenly find their scoring boots when playing us.
The defence will need to be slot better…Clarke was terrible and the centre halves don’t gel….wonder if Rob Holding will start? Still a risk tho.

Whilst on paper he deserved a rest I agree that dropping peck we’ve lost energy in midfield and the link between defence and attack.

I also worry about the psychological aspect. He’s played his guts out for the team then in comes a new face and he out of the team.

I’m sure he’s 100% professional and a squad player but it must grate still given how much he’s contributed.
