He has 2 good games like last night in a row and you think you have finally got a player on your hands .. then he follows it up with 5 bad games.. he’s was like that his entire time here.

Every week I get a variety of texts describing how bad Bogle can be

This week:
"He needs dropping"
"He thinks he's in WWE"

They've played 25 minutes and my mate wants him benched 😂

He sets up goals and is good going forward. Defensively not great but in the championship they'll get away with it.

Brilliant goal for Bogle. Showed real determination.
Although the Coventry goalkeeper made a right hash of gathering the ball.

He's been excellent for them this season. Been a good move for him really. He doesn't have much defending to do and they give him a decent platform to attack.
Plays to his strengths.

Funny how him and lowe have been available for pretty much every game after not being able to play for 3 weeks at a time for us
May our medical department needs looking at

Coventry goalie gifts him a goal.

... after Bogle carried it across half the pitch into the 18 yard area and caused confusion between GK & defender.
He's probably the only right back in the league that can (or is willing to) do that.

Defensively, he's unlikely to have improved much. Which means the step-up will be tough for him again.
But you can't knock his attacking output.

For £5m they probably got the better side of the deal, but there wasn't much we could do.

Hes played very well for them after a sticky start but in fairness he was always good at Championship level for us to , it was when we made the step up his defensive frailties were exposed with us .
After our first PL campaign under Wilder sides had worked out how to expose the weaknesses in our 352 formation , so maybe some of that was possibly attributable to our tactics and exposed him defensively more than in other sides ?
I think he’ll be back in the PL with them next season so will be interesting to see ⚔️

That might have been a factor.

But also those two might have more enthusiasm and desire to play , after moving to a new club and away from our terrible PL season.

Plays much higher up the pitch than he did for us and Leeds have so much pace and quality going forward that he rarely gets caught out.

He is a big part of their success this season and so far has been injury free.

Ampadu has been immense for them playing almost as a sweeper this season and he cuts out so many attacking threats.

Allowed us to but Cooper, Moore and Burrows with the proceeds of his sale.

Not quite. Cooper (£2m), Moore (£2m), Burrows (£4m).

It paid for the latter and Burrows is doing pretty well.
I wish he'd be a little more ambitious (like Bogle) when going forwards as I think he has way more to offer at the top of the pitch in contributing to our attacks.
It's too rare that we see him putting his wand of a left peg to good use.

Seriki is deffo a player that can do that and I've a feeling that Clarke is similar in his attacking directness, maybe just not as silky/tricky as Bogle.

A good attacking player who chipped in with some crucial goals, but with some glaring defensive faults that are more exposed at the next level?

Great attacking wing back at top end Championship. Can’t defend much - so will be bombed out after being exposed (again) in Premier League.

They’ll quickly turn once they see him get mullered by any half decent prem winger

Leeds' initial bid for Bogle was £3m, we rejected that out of hand. They came back with £5m which was also rejected before meeting our asking price of £7m.

You're correct on Cooper at £2m currently - it will rise to £4m if we're promoted. Moore didn't cost £2m. Again, he might if we get promoted but at the moment it will be about half of that. Burrows was £3m up front with another £3m in variables. Bogle's fee more than covered the outgoings to sign those three.

Cooper and Burrows >>>> Bogle. Moore will play a part before the season is out but the main benefit to the team has been the keeper and left back.

Absolutely no regrets from me in us selling him. He didn't want to be here, like Slimane, so balls to him.

And whilst he is great on his day, let's be perfectly honest in saying that he blew hot and cold and often looked like he couldn't be arsed.

Often poor defensively, oh and he's got stupid fucking hair.

The run he made fore the goal is so typical of him, he actually runs until he loses the ball and was fortunate it came back to him. His problem has always been when he makes runs, he can't get his head up and make a pass. So he either continues until he loses it or has an attempt on goal. Too often for us he lost it and then was way out of position.

Celebrated like he had won the league both times they scored against us days after GB's passing.

Appreciate our fans boo'd him, but just felt like he could have shown a touch more respect.

Bit harsh to link Baldock into that scenario. I'm sure he didn't mean any disrespect in that regard.

He got some stick (rightly so) for leaving us. He gave a bit back.

I don't think there's any need in over playing the situation.

Watched Leeds v Coventry what gifts
Leeds didnt even have to break sweat
Plus Sunderland and Burnley's gift goals
hope we get that lucky

Agree…let’s be honest he was good for us in the Championship….so I expected him to do well at Leeds this season.
You could see the talent and potential, especially going forward down the wing.

However he really struggled in the Premier league last season, probably because he was asked to do a lot of defending.
Another issue that I didn’t like about Bogle and Max Lowe, is that both had a casual attitude as though it didn’t matter if we were relegated.
Total opposite to Jack Robinson last season, we could be losing 4-0 and Jack would still be giving 100% trying desperately to ensure we don’t lose 5-0.
Where as once we conceded 2 or 3 goals, Bogle and Lowe were just going through the motions like they were playing in the park.
