Game over 1-0
Another horrible performance and Wilder's tactics leading to him being able to pat himself on the back because a scruffy, scrappy, ugly performance that we ground a result out in showed how much character his team has got from him.

If they just went out and thrashed somebody 7-0 like Leeds have just done it would be the players getting the plaudits and not him

Every away win is a good one.

Just got to hope the new players and a couple back, start to gel and create a more attacking threat.

That said, I'd take similar 1-0 wins against Pompey, Boro and Luton now.

Want to see more from us, and I'm sure we'll need more to finish top two, but getting the 3 points is what matters now.

So nothing to do with derby being desperate to stop the run they're on? Making it a scrappy stop start game? Playing anti football and dragging the game and us down with them.

Fuck 3 points eh? Would you rather win and get 3 points or play like prime barca and lose/draw?

I don’t know how long we played 4-4-2 for today, but let’s NEVER do that again. We were disorganised at the back and had nothing going forward. How does Burrows always end up in a position that isn’t his own??? Especially with the squad is it is now?

Stop bloody

I reckon the Burnley forum will be in meltdown tonight about being too defensive.
Par for the course we us footy fellas.

Awful awful awful football

We didn’t win any first balls, any second balls, we didn’t work the press at all , couldn’t control it, we’re wasteful in possession and never had a period of control…..

Anyone who thinks any different is just plain stupid

Once again wilder gets away with it because there’s really only one stat that matters

Honest to god get rid of him now
Hamer back next week 😁

And I can accept some people like win at all costs…

I like to watch entertaining football
I just like seeing the team I support be successful. Which given the state the club was in at the end of last season,I’d consider where we are right now, (which is majorly down to Wilder and how he has totally rebuilt the squad) a huge success.

The backs against the wall stuff for the last 30 mins is a Wilder favourite. We become sloppy and hand all initiative to poor opposition when I genuinely believe we don't need to.
As soon as the McCallum sub was made, that guaranteed backfooting ourselves for the rest of the game, needlessly, against a garbage opponent who threatened nothing, when we also have a strong bench. Pleased to win obviously, it's a good day, but this is hard to watch

Can I add the Derby fans chants directly calling out their manager is amongst the worst support you could see. They were still in the game against a side heavily tipped to win

They'll hammer us
Wilder will shit himself and go even more defensive than he usually does, in other words learn absolutely sweet F. A. from our first game against them
Hoping he doesn't bottle it this time with us being at home, and I think the fans will make themselves heard if we put any sort of tactic or performance in like it and rightly so.

3 points is great, but why we make it so hard when it doesn't have to be, we will pay the price later in the season with this approach, in every position we have better players than Derby so go out and show it

Before it all goes silly and out of hand like it seems to on here when people have differences of opinion.

For the record … our points total this year is 10/10 our resilience, never say die attitude etc is 10/10

But the football is no higher than a 5/10

If we have any designs on going up … and competing resilience, effort, hard work is just not good enough anymore and that’s all we are going to get if we stick with they Warnock, Bassett and wilder type managers.

Yes I’m a blades fan but I want to see us progressing as a club and at the minute … apart from new ownership I see no progress on the pitch and very little off the pitch.

The right noises are coming from the new owners and I hope they lead us in to a bright new future when we catch up with all the top top clubs who are doing things much better than us from top to bottom
