He's a multi-millionaire from his time with us and his biggest achievement to date is winding up Barry Bannan.
When you factor in his wages v contribution x contract length he is probably pound for pound the worst signing in our history.
So that means he couldn’t have played well tonight?

That wasn't even a bad performance, nor was it against West Brom, but it's become a bad run now and it needs turning around quickly.

6 of the starting lineup being out is crippling though for any team, let alone one that everyone knows has no depth whatsoever. I'm not sure we can keep up the pace unless we go big in the transfer window.

Slightly miffed with it all at the minute, even considering the tough run of games and the players we've lost.

Fair enough we were beaten by the better team on the day against Burnley but it feels like we could have got more against West Brom and Sunderland.

No need to panic though, lots more winnable games ahead.

Yep, we played ok, apart from 2 poor goals we gave away. Subs might be to do with fitness, lots of players playing lots of minutes means they have to be managed to avoid more injuries.

You can't fault the effort from the players. We need some reinforcements to maintain our position.

Still there for us, keep he faith

I don’t understand how anyone can say injuries have cost us in this game, we’ve completely dominated the ball and not laid a glove on them, it’s the reason we’ve scored 3 in a match only once this season. That’s a style issue, not a player issue. Good in-between both boxes though, plenty to build on I suppose.

The penalty miss and two very poor touches have cost us. Very frustrating because it was a good performance otherwise.

Robinson should be no where near the top of the championship.
Let's face it, Robinson has hung around like a bad smell at the Lane for years, nobody would miss him if he went, but now we are in dire straits and still can't ditch him, he's the defenders equivalent of Osbourne, and needs to go sooner rather than later.

So predictable and predictable from Wilder too knew Brooks wouldn't start nothing ever changes with Chris Wilder that when it comes to big games we resort to fielding a team full of defensive minded players.

It is so frustrating, we aren't expected to win so why not have a go we knew they were gonna try and come at us and kill us with pace and that is exactly how it is panning out.
Bang on Moody - every fuckin time!

Decent performance, poor result. Really hope we pull the trigger on a couple of transfers really quickly, even just to pad the bench for Watford, but wilder said expect nothing until Norwich

I despair at our fan base I really do, we have got to have some of the most negative fans in the country. Can’t wait to weigh in on individual players and the manager at any hint of something going wrong.

We are having our worst run of results so far this season which has coincided with injuries to key players and a tough run of games. That’s as far as it goes for me.
Totally agree mate. Puts me off coming on the forum

Need to get that spine back. Robinson Peck Moore need outing asap

It means he's a very expensive waste. Prove me wrong.
A broken clock is right twice a day, Brewster is right twice every other year.
The other guy said he played well tonight, what you said had nothing to do with that.

He has been an expensive flop, can’t get away from that but can’t change it either

That slice had me reminiscing about the 5-2 Burnley game at the lane. Only that team played football a lot quicker.

Two errors two goals…Moore pen miss but maybe had Brooks and Burrows started we would have got at least a point

A shame couldn’t get a point there, really going for it at the end…… Has Moore picked up a morphene addiction? So slow to react 😡

Moore and Robinson let’s us down big style tonight. We deserved a draw but no chance with those duds making mistakes. Recruitment is a must as this squad situation can’t go on.

Sunderland looked patched up, tired, lacking in confidence and their crowd was the same - flat as a fart

It was there for the taking even with the team we had out

But Kieffer can only take pens like a 12 year old girl, and that set the game up perfectly for a negative result

Robinson and Peck's errors are hardly unexpected, especially Peck's. He's regularly looked capable of costing us a goal like that and now it's happened and it's cost us a point. Robinson does this sort of thing every now and then but this is why he shouldn't be first choice, especially in a back 4

We need signings now, not at the end of the month

Brooks and Onè should start at Watford

Moore, a striker, scores a penalty and Robinson, a professional footballer and central defender, heads the ball, and we win.

It’s not complicated why we lost tonight.

No they aren’t they are defending desperately and doing enough
They are desperate at the back but we don’t have the quality to punish them.Sorry to say we are mid table and our tactics are so negative although I think everyone can see what we have up front.Would prefer to give Marsh time versus One who to me offers nothing positive or creative

Spot on - it’s incredibly frustrating to hit a poor patch but the injuries have decimated us right at the worst possible time.
People calling for Wilder to go is just utterly crazy.
We’re well in contention - with key players to come back and hopefully new blood to boost us. I’ll take that.

Wilder sets up to fucking lose and should start to be questioned by us fans, I have always supported him but any old excuse now! Do we ever attack in numbers or fucking entertain rather than looking like a 4th Division team whos' won a prize to play in the Championship! Fucking hell Wilder that was Shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes and then hit on the break which they have done fantastically well
They didn’t break fantastically well.
Most of Sunderland’s breaks in the second half were woeful. Sunderland have been below par tonight, and our two really poor moments of defending (alongside the poor penalty) have really cost us.

Should have had another pen near the end, Anel was having his shirt pulled a good while as the corner came in.
