Yet another half of football with zero shots on target. With the amount of possession we've had they've still had the better chances

I think I'm watching a different game because I think we're playing well, we're patient and there's been a lot of good play and i think peck and Davies are having a good game
We're passing it round ok, but they are letting us.
Just sitting back and trying to bring us on and then hit us on a fast break

Fully in control of the game, which is good to see after Plymouth. Hamer, o,hare, peck and Davies all look sharp to me. Think that was one of Peck’s better halves.

JRS looks completely devoid of confidence and freshness though. And without him offering a threat and opening the game up, we do look low on ideas going forward. Let’s see. If we play like that for the next 45 Cardiff will tire and we’ll get chances.

I seem to say this every game (and yet we're somehow top of the league) but once again I'm not sure what we're trying to do. Seems no system or gameplan. Give it to JRS, Hamer or O'Hare and hope we create something. Our midfield is obviously missing two starters but the attacking 4 are our best 4 and very little seems to get created.

They just haven’t. Their only chance on target was 30 yards away. We’ve had all the ball- they will tire and we’ll have a couple of big chances.
Hamer had a decent chance and then Davies had an even better one and should have just smashed it.

It's not that we are playing bad or any players are having a bad game but we are playing with little pace and intensity to open up a piss poor outfit in Cardiff
When you look at the comments from the first half you'd think we were playing terrible with all the players having a mare, if we were playing badly I'd have a go but we seem to be getting up our own arses, we've been the better team by some way

1-0 loss, a Callum Robinson substitute winner is written in the stars

We only have 2 flair players Hamer and Rak Sayki. The latter has been out of form for a month now so we r reliant on Hamer doing something. I just wish our midfield wd be a bit braver and start running with the ball.

A thoroughly unspectacular half of football. We seem be getting gradually more dependant on Burrows getting forward to give us width, as the midfield is very narrow.

Seriki is a smart choice I think. Would provide a better balance, as well as helping to free up JRS down that side.

Plus ca change.
They are shocking at the back as we saw two years ago.
But we sit pissing about in our own half under #ChrissieWilderTacticalImbecile
Jesus has had three occassions (forward backwards still a liability) were he has not had 4 on him and caused havoc.
GET HIM ON THE LEFT.
Burrows is too slow to beat anybody as we saw with Bogle at Leeds slaughtering him.
OHare
FFS
Great chance right in front of goal <25 yards out.
Does he shoot on run closer and shoot - does he ****. Complex five yard pass and ****s it up.
Done F all AGAIN.
One goal every 10 games - here and career - does NOT a team fixture make for an alleged number 10
They're back out.

This recent stretch of games since Oxford has not been great to watch at all, but the squad is depleted and we've played with half our starting lineup out, so no complaints really. The amount of points we've picked up in that period given the circumstances, is incredible.

Hamer does seem to carry that front four every week though. The other three need to do much much more than they have all season. It will start becoming a problem soon if they don't start to perform, especially if Campbell is out for a long period.

Would you replace JRS with Brooks or McCallum and swap to their preferred wing ?
Move Hamer to RW ?

Unless we strengthen in January it's very hard not to feel like we could end up plummeting down the table in 2025. We're I'm a bit of a false position really when you look at the performances.

Davies hands on knees, we need to look after him so I wonder whether he needs to go off after 60 mins
