Superb again today.
Really?
We had 37% possession at home to Plymouth. We had zero control of the midfield throughout.
I'm not meaning to be too critical of Davies. Given the context, he's doing well. But strip that context away and I thought he & Peck didn't do nearly enough for us.
He'll improve as his match sharpness returns, but it's still an area we need to strengthen in January.
Without Souza & Arblaster we look a long way off where we need to be.
I thought he struggled, OK at bestSuperb again today.
I'm the first half they had a couple of really good chances.I felt he did what he did really well. Won us the pen too. I understand we didn’t control much of that game but I also don’t think we looked like we were gonna concede either.
We were outnumbered in midfield in the first half. That wasn’t on Davies & Peck. When we switched things up for the 2nd half they both had a far better time.Really?

Let’s just hope Souza is back for our next home game (and Anal) as that depth will be found wanting - Plymouth are not a good team and bossed the middle of the pitch constantly finding gapsIf we've got players who are able to come in and make a game seem easy, even if we know we aren't our best, we're on to a winner. Davies easing himself back in and being able to replace Souza when he's not played for a year, regardless of the opposition, is absolute quality. That depth we said we didn't have, we do now.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see, imo there's no point in judging our depth on whether or not players turn out next week until we get there. We might have a fill quota next week, but you're already writing us off with ridiculous whatabouteryLet’s just hope Souza is back for our next home game (and Anal) as that depth will be found wanting - Plymouth are not a good team and bossed the middle of the pitch constantly finding gaps
If fit for Burnley I’d start Souza n Davis
I really disagree with this. They lacked discipline and too often both were up field when we lost the ball or were easily bypassed. We were outnumbered in midfield in the first half. That wasn’t on Davies & Peck. When we switched things up for the 2nd half they both had a far better time.
Most of Plymouth's possession were in their first third of the pitch. They were creative in the wings not through the middleReally?

I thoughr he was magnificentI thought he struggled, OK at best
Can always fall back on his Mick Hucknall tribute band careerI thoughr he was magnificent
Yep, I like both Davies and Peck but. our central midfield were pretty shocking today and would have been completely overwhelmed by a top half side.Really?
