Just that there are some players that football is the be all and end all, and being injured is devastating. I don’t imagine Davies is that sort of bloke. Not being able to play competitive football at a high level every week is his default state anyway so he must be used to it.

The post I responded to suggested that he’s a wastrel, comparing him to Brewster… and to be honest it’s tiring and disrespectful to read this shite.

I don’t know anyone, pro footballer or other profession that’s had an injury or series of shitty injuries that makes them happy because they’re on decent cash.

So a guy has a side hustle. I’m sure that doesn’t really help when he’s either constantly in pain or a dull ache because of injuries that restrict him from doing his main hustle
