Contract, contract, contract...another 'we can fix him' failure in the transfer market and allied with Shackleton we r forking out a lot in wages for not very muchjust get rid
just get rid
Ah, my mistake I thought I'd seen something saying he'd extended. We haven’t given him a new contract he is just entering the final year of the first one.
Poor lad would rupture his Achilles serving a pint…No room for sentiment. Unless we want to employ them in the kiosks, cleaning the kop bogs or security.
No way to “get rid” either, unfortunately, apart from paying him off. Same with Shackleton. No room for sentiment. Unless we want to employ them in the kiosks, cleaning the kop bogs or security.

Its always annoying when a player keeping being injured but I think Davies has already proven what a class player he is at this level. Unlike Brewster and Shackleton where the argument is and always will be, should they have been signed, I just really do hope Davies can be managed appropriately and we can consistently see him in the squad.IF we got Davies to a level like last winter then its a boost and a bonus. The plus side this time is that we wouldn't be expecting him to play 90+ games every 3-4 days as we have options
Last season we had no choice to play him and ruin him again. Least we'd have Matos/Soumare/Peck all to play a part.

Loved that goal against Sunderland
I do think we might be in a joint venture to rebuild his skeleton with recycled chopsticks. Thats why its so hush hush...The thing about Davies is we never seem to get told what sort of injury he has. They don't seem like niggling injuries either as they keep him out for a sustained period of time.

Judging by the length of time injured we have so far rebuilt/replaced 3.I do think we might be in a joint venture to rebuild his skeleton with recycled chopsticks. Thats why its so hush hush...
That is a good point. To be fair it could be the player would rather the manager/club not disclose the specifics of the injury problems.
We keep bringing him out in the testing stage and its not quite ready. We are on ChopStik Davies Mk4 now.Judging by the length of time injured we have so far rebuilt/replaced 3.
