Pigs mocking the death of GB

It's done the rounds for years 'throwing bottles of piss' down on them etc.

No evidence whatsoever, just typical Wendy strategy of 'if you say it often enough and to enough people, it become fact'.
Don't think they were piss filled but I saw several full bottles launched from the BLUT onto the BLLT yesterday. A far more serious and dangerous transgression than an extremely bad taste image on a phone, however you dress it up.

I’d have thought suspension on full pay whilst it’s investigated?
Depends on his employment contract and how long he's been there... In cases like this, the law is well and truly stacked in the favour of the employer.

In this modern smartphone age, all of a sudden you don't stop being a company representative at 5:01pm....

It’s definitely a grey area. I have HR generalist knowledge just from owning businesses and managing people but I can imagine this type of incident can go either way. If they want rid of him then it’s a pretty easy way out, as he’s a QS and they’re ten a penny it might just be easier to bullet him.
Id imagine if it's in the Daily Mail, then the senior mgt of the company would want to be seen to be 'taking action' so depending on how long he's been employed, it'll be termination with immediate effect or termination with notice period...

And... as I mentioned earlier... he's only been working there since May so with less than two years' service, his protections are pretty few.

If it's May then it would be a case of Few = Zero.

Stick a fork in him, he's done.

Will depend on his contract of employment. They could suspend and go through a gross misconduct hearing etc and dismiss without notice with no comback or, more probable, they dismiss and pay him his contractual notice (which if on statutory terms would be one week).

His next phone message…

I wish they were ten a penny mate, especially in Sheffield. Maybe then I'd be able to recruit one. I hope we get his CV passed to us.... an interview I'd enjoy conducting.

Which I find really sad tbh.

What the scumbag did is beneath the pale but at one time the bad rep and his time looking over his shoulder or having to keep a low profile was enough.

I can't pretend that I'm not comfortable with the modern day phenomena of people straight away trying to find his employer so they can attempt to get him sacked.

In general I would agree with your closing sentence , but this kid’s act was so disgusting and abhorrent that it’s not difficult to argue that he deserves everything he gets as a result of it .

For future reference , the expression is ‘beyond the pale’ and originates from the 14th. Century Norman invasion of Ireland. The territory claimed by the forces would be marked by a wooden fence called an ‘pale’ and those who lived outside it were considered to capable of wild and unruly behaviour .

When I was a kid , we used to call the slats on a wooden fence ‘palings’ . I don’t know if anyone still does but it is obviously from the same root .

Some despicable behavior this weekend in the name of football rivalry.
The spitting thing is just disgusting- who is brought up to think that is acceptable to do to people who just come to a footy game?

Then the idiot with the phone - this one is mind boggling first of all, I don’t know what goes through people’s minds. But had it not been photographed and then plastered on social media, George Baldock’s family would have been completely unaware of it, and spared the stress and anxiety it must be causing them. The desire to get the bloke punished has been ensured they are directly affected by it.

I’ve not read this entire thread so apologies of someone has already made a similar point.

A few years ago it seemed everyone coming out of university became a QS, it was the ‘geography teacher’ of a generation. Maybe they’ve all moved up the ladder now and no one is in behind them to do the donkey work.

The worst thing about the phone is that's he's probably done that before the game with the intent on displaying it.

He should lose his job, who would want to employ somebody like that, I wouldn't

Can't understand what goes through some peoples minds in this day of social media. Both this prick and his prick mates who showed the Bradley Lowery photo to Sunderland fans have gone through a thought process of at least 3 stages before landing themselves in hot water.

Can only presume it is the ale and/or marching powder that has clouded their judgements...

Isn't this prick clever:Screenshot_20241111_172850_Chrome.webphe does realise he lives in a City, where a large proportion of football fans will likely want to give him warm welcome when they see him out!!??
What a clever boy!!
Not really thought it through has he........
Oh well, enjoy the repercussions, it's your missus I feel sorry for, dumb cunt.

They could drug test him as well.

exactly, should have just sent it in to the Police and club

The tit for that "this is worse than this" is pathetic. It's all absolute stupidity. A woman got her face cut due to fans on both sides chucking stuff at each other and her and her husband missed the game when they were taking their grandkids.

Will only result in reduced capacities or go as far as The old firm with no away fans

We’ve certainly got our share of scummy twats. This disgusting individual at 15:45 needs banning and charged with assault (spitting on the Wednesday fans, dirty get)

Not to mention others letting us down again by chucking bottles down onto the Wednesday fans.

Embarrassment to the club and make me feel ashamed to be a blade. Next time we have 10 rows blocked off at the front of the upper tier costing us thousands, remember his face.

Hope they’re found and arrested and hope the stewards are sacked.
