Pigs mocking the death of GB

I'm definitely not defending it if it's true, but that's just a picture of someone who they claim to have spat - it shouldn't be plastered all over social media because of that. If it's true then the CCTV should cover it, and the club should deal with it.
Err the video is clear he spits- He's scum the kid who held the message GB is scum. Fraid when you go to a football match you are undoubtedly going to be close to some of the worst vermin you could ever wish to meet. They exist at all grounds bar none- fact of life the world is full of twats.

Both deserve each other. Move on - enjoy the win forget these low life.

Let's let the police decide
Expect him to have some difficult conversations with HR tomorrow morning.

Already happening, I’d assume, now the Mail have moved last night’s story on by naming him:

A moment of madness and his life's potentially ruined. When will people learn?

We are aware of an image circulating in the media that shows one of our employees at the Sheffield derby football match this weekend. The behaviour captured in the photo goes entirely against our values as an organisation. We are conducting an internal legal investigation as a matter of urgency and will work with South Yorkshire Police and Sheffield Wednesday Football Club accordingly.

We will provide a full statement once the investigation is completed.

He was a steward? Jesus :(

Every seat in the ground is covered by high definition cctv. Anyone found "pissing on fans below" as I've heard today, will no doubt be identified and arrested/banned for life.
….when clearly the repeated instruction from 3 sides of the ground was to shit on the bastards below. Some people simply incapable of following instructions.

"Chloe Bannan, wife of Wednesday captain Barry Bannan, saying: 'That is absolutely abhorrent, and they're nothing to do with Wednesday"

Thing is though, they are something to do with Wednesday, the fan base that repeatedly shames the city, it's true that 99% of them are decent, but occurrences like this happen far too often with them. As a fan base they have a problem, they need to accept it and fix it.

Has anyone actually suggested they were pissed on?

As someone who works in HR mgt, it's the poor fucker who's come into work on a Monday morning hoping for an easy start to the week (it's getting closer to Christmas after all) and now has to hurriedly check contractual terms, what defines gross misconduct, and behaviour detrimental to the company image and has to speak to the company legal advisors as to how to deal with this... Fanks Brandon...

Was surprised to see the nets above the away fans removed last season, and even more when they didn't go back up for the derby game. Not sure why really, they seem like a sensible precaution against idiots. There was stuff thrown by Blades down into the away support yesterday, and across from G&H. Don't think anything can really be done about G&H without restricting the view which no one would want to do, but the nets above BL lower don't actually impact anyones view

Kind of wish this hadn't been picked up by mainstream news. Although this should be called out, it feels like its now in the faces of all those family and friends who may not actually have been aware of this.
Just been on the national news

Also just to add another fact check no "appears" or "seemed" about it

The picture confirms he did why not say

"A Sheffield Wednesday supporter held his phone up mocking the death of George Baldock"

See it, say it, sort it to coin a phrase.

I try to overcompensate for pig fans as a way of blocking any prejudice against em. Most of them are decent enough, or at least the ones I know anyway.

But in last 12 months, their fanbase have been guilty of;
  1. Racially abusing a Coventry player
  2. Mocking a dead child against Sunderland
  3. Mocking a fan dying in their away end against WBA
Now they're mocking a footballer dying at 31.

They're due a serious conversation with themselves about their behaviour, as their reputation is now beyond the "every football club has idiots" excuse.
Nope

Still the self proclaimed 'classy' side of Sheffield

Career over. Serves the silly cunt right. Abhorrent behaviour from someone who should know better.

It's done the rounds for years 'throwing bottles of piss' down on them etc.

No evidence whatsoever, just typical Wendy strategy of 'if you say it often enough and to enough people, it become fact'.

What he did was stupid, moronic and cruel to the family and memory of Georgie. He'll lose his job and his rights to watch football, and rightly so.

I still think the tosser that is clearly seen spitting on fans in the lower tier is even worse though, and should be subject to the same consequences. one is a mental provocation, the other is a disgusting physical assault. Both are abhorrent and need to be punished to their full extent otherwise we'll never get anywhere trying to rid the game of these fucking imbeciles.

Wednesday have hit the headlines over the last year or so with shit like this but it just proves that we, and most other large fan bases, have just as many utter cunts turning up as them.

I want to see United and the Police act against this sick twat as well.

I’d have thought suspension on full pay whilst it’s investigated?

It was the first thing my pig mate said when I phoned him this morning.
I've also seen 'kids attacked' and 'been bottled' thrown around aswell.

Hey ho, even if true, we're still way behind their Tram smashing antics of the last away game.

It’s definitely a grey area. I have HR generalist knowledge just from owning businesses and managing people but I can imagine this type of incident can go either way. If they want rid of him then it’s a pretty easy way out, as he’s a QS and they’re ten a penny it might just be easier to bullet him.

Think someone said they saw on linkedin he has only been employed a couple of months so pretty sure they can just sack him off with no worries.
