Some poor performances out there today.
Souza
Moore
OHare

blaster barely been in the game.

Some of our possession has been very wasteful, panicked and careless.

Saki & Hamer played well. Defensively i think we’ve been decent. Central Midfield is where we are weakest today.

Agree with all of that.

Our midfield is struggling to control the game.....when ever we get the ball we're always looking for quick direct counter attacks.
Thankfully our defence look really good....Ahmedhodzic again playing really well....but I think it's because the pressure is off him due having an even more commanding centre back in Soutar next to him. Cooper has hardly had a thing to do....made one decent save.

It's hard to say but in many ways I'd say we're not playing too well, no where near our best
but the tippy tippy Hull City tactics leave themselves so open at the back.....it's a bit basic but our quick counter attacks seems to be working.

My only concern is that we've always tend to be weaker/ poorer/ less fit in the 2nd half. So I think we need a second goal.
O'Hare always tends to have a great 1st half but look knackered and disappear 2nd half, however this time he's done very little 1st half.

Moore is ok, he’d be fine coming off the bench or starting maybe 20 matches, but he’s not good enough to be the main striker for a team chasing promotion.

Hamers strike should not be underestimated, he is not the favourite from that position. If Ray-Sakyi is not making much of an impact at the start of the second half, I would look at Brooks, because Hull are making a lot on inroads down that side. I am less concerned about Moore than others, just feels like confidence, but if he is fit enough Campbell's pace at some point might better exploit the way Hull are trying to play out from their own box, plus the counter-attacking opportunities we are getting.

Moore is absolutely infuriating. Could’ve had one but chose not to shoot, inexplicably. Could’ve had another but for some reason checked his run when it was played to where he was headed.

He’s fucking levels off McBurnie.
So frustrating to watch. He offers very little and the “mistakes” he makes you know he won’t learn from due to his age and time in his career. Happily sub him now and try someone else as he’s not going to score and doesn’t bring anyone else in to the game. If he’s not scoring he needs to terrorise their centre backs and he doesn’t

Blasters early yellow has simmered him down a bit, obviously cautious about doing anything overly rash to earn a second.

the Hamer / O’Hare show at times and I get the know each other, but missed some cracking off the ball runs that have split defenders.

High press played very well with energy when out of possession, great to see.

Vini’s cover a good bit of turf, lovely to see.

Got ourselves into good positions and not made the most, we should be well on the way to winning this, but they are putting an aggressive high press on us and forcing mistakes which will lead to them scoring sooner or later.Theres more goals on the break for us if we keep our heads, pick the right options and be more clinical in their area

Think I’d be inclined to go 4-3-3 second half.(edit: saw jono_t2000 said exactly the same a few minutes earlier 👍)

Drop Hamer back to make three in the middle and O’Hare wide left.

Just feel we don’t quite have as much control in the middle as we could do.

I’d be eyeing Shackleton to get a bit more energy in the middle at some point in the second half.

Brewster on for Moore, need pace in behind when they inevitably lose it whilst fucking about with it.

So what? What’s it matter if we played him through? He’d only run the chance into fuck all like he always seems to on a breakaway.
A few games into the season…. Not many players you do like is there negative nige? Carrying on like last season I see…..

I’m obviously watching a different player to you then. Quality nod downs and great off the ball movement. Just needs a run of luck and a bit more vision from the players behind him who at times have opted for tippy happy triangular passes out wide, as opposed to playing him through..

Blaster and Souza too deep.

Look very much like a Swansea where if we keep pressing, their ambition is going to overshoot their ability and they’re going to give you something.
Definitely. I don’t mind them having the most of the possession and build up because I feel as though every time we counter attack we could score if we had a bit more composure in front of goal

I’d like to see Rak-Sakyi shoot a bit more. It’s like he gets a bit of anxiety about actually taking a shot and it paralyses him. That said, if ever there was a player who you thought “if he scores one, the floodgates will open” it’s him.

I absolutely hated most of the squad of last season. You’re barmy if you didn’t. We conceded 100 goals 😂😂😂

Can you try and name me 5 players in the current squad I don’t like since you know me so well? Because I’m baffled by that comment. Seems you’ve just tried throwing some shit on the wall and hoping it sticks…
