I think we definitely need another experienced goalscorer. We can't be relying on Osula and Brewster if Moore isn't firing this season.

Agree…my concern is whenever I see Brewster and Osula, they both look good.

Generally have decent games, but seem unlucky in front of goal and often the goalie will pull off a great save to stop them scoring.

However next match it’s the same.

My concern is that they are unlucky more matches because they’ve aren’t as good as I think. Suppose we’ll see.

Fair comment on the Comms lost 2 defensive headers too easily there, appreciate it's a pre season game but you would expect more crosses into the box in the championship
Might persuade the powers that be to go and get centre halves we need

That’s the difference. They’re either rusty/ not match sharp or they just don’t have the edge like Billy/ Webber/ archer type players

Brewster makes me want to cry
It made me cry when I did the sums very quickly on his goals to transfer fee-£4.7 million per goal up to now,a bargain !

Really really like McCallum playing higher up top as part of the 3.

McCallum Hamer O'Hare 🔥🔥🔥

Played well, lots of subs made ruins the flow of the game but we’ve created plenty on an other day we could have scored 4 or 5.

But by far the most impressive thing is the quality and flair of our youngsters, Peck, Marsh, Arblaster, brooks and Seriki have looked very comfortable against a side that will fancy top 6 in league one. That’s not even including Osula. Got to look after them because the future is bright. Well done academy!

Well done lads, you can only learn by playing and against more experienced players. The sun’s shining on the future. Early days.

In my 50+ years of watching utd this as got to be the best batch of academy players I’ve ever seen, usually we have had 1 or 2 stand outs per year this year there seems to be nearly a full side that is knocking on the door.

Normally keep my powder dry but I’m just so impressed. 6 real quality young products on the periphery of the first team. I can’t remember having that many. Said it already but the staff at the academy are doing a sterling job.

Stuttering second half not helped by the old failure of conceding straight after half time. JLT error but having a goalkeeper who hugs his line doesn't help. Brooks had a good game, good feet. Souza looked up for it but the difference was when you take Hamer, Arblaster and OHare off the invention drops due to a lack of quality replacements.

Good cameo from Peck and Marsh shows a strikers instinct in the box. Credit to Rovrum worked harder and closed us down but there will be more difficult challenges in the Championship. We need as a bare minimum before the season starts a solid CB, RB and Goalkeeper to come in.

This is why we can afford to bring in a bunch of more experienced players

I know nothing about Rotherham and their players, but your comment only makes sense if Rotherham were playing their starting 11. For all I know Rotherham could've also have had half their U23 on the pitch and then your comments are simply SUFC U23's are better than Rotherham's U23 which I'm guessing we already know??
