There's so many players that Sheffield United are being linked with that I thought I'd pop the most recent and credible ones in one place with as much info on each player in as short a time as possible, there's stats, facts and how they would fit into a United system. I agree with most on here - Cooper sounds like the best available for a reasonable fee.....£3 million?? Trouble is we have to get rid of Souza/Anel first to generate the funds. If we could get approx £20 million for those two I would be all in on Worrell, Cooper and a cheeky try on BBD before he goes anywhere else. A couple of frees to bolster the squad and we could be in with a chance.

We desperately need at least 3 more quality first team players - GK & 2xWingers. Then we need 3 squad players, might not be pretty signings possibly your Matt Ritchie's of the world & I'd like to see Mcburnie be one of them too.

Like the idea of Worrel and Campbell. Richie and Rushmore not so much. Worrel for experience, Campbell for pace and waiting for his season that he flourishes, why not us. Richie, not inspiring, Rushmore feel there is better out there on a permanent.. nice report.

What are you basing this on G&J?

If Cooper costs a few million and Rushworth perhaps on loan is all about salary, then I suspect you are right and PA/club would target him?

can see both coming in davies is a 3rd choice keeper at best at this level and coopers fitness not great

With the rumours that surround this club in modern days couple with the seemingly thousands of attention seeking mugs that want to pretend they know something I just simply pay them no mind now.

Every single post or tweet as it turns out is 99.99% bollocks and turns out to be not "in the know" but more "what I reckon"

The rumours threads I literally go straight to the latest page, see if there's an official post from the club saying we've signed or if there's 2 grown men arguing about who knows more than who and if there isn't any of those two I move away from it.

Far too long in the tooth, the club doesn't help considering the ridiculous way it fucks about with it's social media and how slow it tends to be, couple that with the plethora of meltdowns on here its exhausting to read, never mind be involved.

If we weren't prepared to have Davies as a backup option, why did we offer him a new contract? It'll be 1 new keeper in as 1st choice, Davies 2nd, and Grbic to be given the Ol' Yeller treatment

Well as far as I'm concerned there's no point. The club quite clearly prefers to play it's cards incredibly close to it's chest and there are undiscovered tribes deep in the Amazon that I would trust more with club rumours than I would with the fools we have around here.

For me it's club statement confirmation or it's nothing.

Given nobody has come in this week despite Wilders comments I think the number one priority at the moment should be to keep Anel and Souza.

The squad is desperately short and we kick off in exactly 2 weeks time so we can't afford to lose 2 more players, especially a centre half.
