At end of day he wants to leave so what do we do keep someone who doesn’t want to be here? Shackleton and O’Hare have chosen us over Leeds this season so I certainly don’t think it’s a lack of ambition he’s made it clear he won’t sign a new deal. As it stands at the minute this squad we’ve got now would be challenging for promotion I don’t care what anyone says. We’re a goalkeeper away from top 2 id say. I’d still expect Souza and Anel to go and us to replace them but we will have a better squad than we started last season with that’s for sure.
That's a big shame if true very good player.Fee agreed, medical today
Makes business/financial sense.Fee agreed, medical today
If we kept Bogle, Anel, and Souza and added a Goalkeeper, Striker and a centre half we would be.Just my opinion T Blade, but the squad isn’t capable of being a top 2 team, nowhere near. An 11 that can probably be competitive, but we all know you don’t win promotion with a decent 11, you win it with a squad with depth and history tells us that with our injury record we’ll more likely be languishing than pushing
The myth that he can't defend.Another one who misses as many as he plays through injury.
Always liked him but let’s get an RB in that can defend and likely to play a full season.
Best right back in the league that can’t defendSelling the best Right back in the league to your promotion rivals for a packet of quavers
The sheffield united way as they say
AgreeMight be in the minority but I’m not that fussed, great going forward but I’d sacrifice that for someone stronger defensively as I think we need that more based on last seasons goals against.
I agree with you ,now that Bogle has left we have had 15 players walk away and brought 4 in , we are well short of a decent squad .Two or three injuries away from being threadbare . We also have players in the squad who we dont want and others who have permanent sick notes so to think we are top 2 is way of the mark . Why is it that the guys who's contracts are up or are on the last few months of the contract can't wait to get away leaving us to bring in freebies because we are getting f all for them but the cost of replacing them is not possible because we cant afford a bog roll .Just my opinion T Blade, but the squad isn’t capable of being a top 2 team, nowhere near. An 11 that can probably be competitive, but we all know you don’t win promotion with a decent 11, you win it with a squad with depth and history tells us that with our injury record we’ll more likely be languishing than pushing
Has he? a rumour seems to betting repeated as an actual fact now. Even if he actively wanted to leave, Leeds isn't really a step up at this pointBogle has made it clear he won't
Exactly, part and parcel of footballCertainly looks like we have an issue in getting guys to sign extended deals, the club will have to shoulder some blame but it cannot be entirely on the club for this. Bogle has made it clear he won't so getting a fee now for him makes sense.
Because we have short sighted fools running our club that have allowed that to occur.Certainly looks like we have an issue in getting guys to sign extended deals, the club will have to shoulder some blame but it cannot be entirely on the club for this. Bogle has made it clear he won't so getting a fee now for him makes sense.
