That’s the thing.^^^^^^^^^^
UTB
The main issue for me now is that we're losing a large part of the 'essence' of the club. Players who get what it means to play for us and who can pass that on to the new players.
Along with Baldock, Bash, Norwood and Sharp last season we've lost that experience that needs passing on to the next generation of blades players.
The lack of leaders in the club at the minute is frightening. We've gone from a team full of captains 5 years ago to not even being able to guess who the captain might be in the first match of the season.
Beginning to get worried now
You know it's comingPardon?!?
Absolutely no way should we be giving him the captaincy this season.Arblaster for captain.
Strange comment.
The push from both sides, may have suggested some optimism on a deal being agreed.

He's going to have enough on his plate having to run our midfield at 20 years old without having to answer to this shitshow of what's going on above him.
Can sort of see why wilder gave it him for a few matches last season when there was zero pressure on him but not this season, just let the lad concentrate on his football.
Or we give it a 20 year old kid in his first full season of professional football with us when the pressure from the stands will be immense if we're still in this state at the start of the season and ruin him before he's even got started.Ok so let’s give it someone who “gets the club” then by your description. Like who, JLT, who’s got at least 3 or 4 mistakes leading to goals in him not to mention red cards, but he likes a tackle so let’s make him club captain.
Just Robinson left from the team that finished 9thThey've all gone now![]()
I think he was more referring to the fact that you put McBurnie in the same sentence as "quality" and "John Egan" as if they were all compatible. You know it's coming
That's a valid point. If I hear anyone, whether it's a supporter, player or member of the coaching staff, describe the pigs game as 'just another game', I'm going to personally take a pop-up inflatable Argos round to their house and bray em round the back of it!The main issue for me now is that we're losing a large part of the 'essence' of the club. Don't think he's good enough for the prem, only my opinion.Interesting that 10 days ago he was posting about looking forward to the new season with pics at shirecliffe in blades kit.
To now be leaving. Guess he wants a premier league deal, which is fair enough
He’s had 2 1/2 seasons there. So would be a decent back up at least.Don't think he's good enough for the prem, only my opinion.
They've all gone now![]()
Gilmour's business will take a hit now Egan, Baldock and their mates won't be there all the time.Well at least I've got less chance of getting run over by his Mrs on Greystones Road now.
Were fucked !They've all gone now![]()
That was the other thing I was going to say!Gilmour's business will take a hit now Egan, Baldock and their mates won't be there all the time.
