Details of 'freak' injuries should always be made available to members of this forum so that proper statistical analysis can take place and so as to fuel our conspiracy threads. Can someone with close links to the club sort this please?

Not recently !!! He would be some time before he is better than what we have: perhaps next season.

If we were aware he'd tweaked his knee in training, and with full knowledge of his injury record, how was starting him in a PL match "protecting him?"

We've seen way too much of this under Heckingbottom & co.
They've done some incredible things in their time here, but they have an absolutely atrocious record of managing players fitness and rehabilitation.

Without panicking and putting the list into perspective, we know the following about that list so far:

Davies, RND, Bash, Egan, Anel, T. Davies, Mcburnie & Brewster are injured. No surprise.
Baldock is still slowly integrating back into it so probably has more rest days than others (hopefully)
Fleck, Traore, Osula played yesterday as you mentioned
Jebbo probably at running stage which I don't think they tend to video.

8 first team squad contenders out which sounds horrendous, but most arent a surprise to us.

I think you'll see Archer up top on his own again Sunday with Osula & Traore on the bench so we've got 3 strikers available.

It's a ridiculous amount. When we're relegated next year you can see why Hecky might feel frustrated, the majority of the season he'll be down a large chunk of his squad.

However, since Hecky has come in the injury record has been appalling, last week's result gets him out of jail to a certain extent but this needs addressing quickly. Our average time of injury is so high too!

I'm not sure why "Hecky might feel frustrated" at an issue that you quite rightly point out has mostly been a thing since he has been in charge, and has been a common factor anywhere he's been. Anyone with even the smallest level of self awareness might work out that he might have something to do with it, and that it is irrational to feel frustrated at something that is at a minimum partially self inflicted

I’d stick them on the bench just to bulk out the experience in the team rather than a bench full of kids. With 9 subs we can afford to have a couple of injured bench fillers on there
