I thought it wasn't offside anyway as McBurnie isn't anywhere near in line with the shot and didn't impede the keeper as the ball was well passed him and nestled in the corner before he made contact with McBurnie.

This particular issue will never get any traction in the media. Shearer and his mates (for example) will have a go at VAR when it affects the big boys. There is no way any of them will call out bias against the smaller teams, as it would affect the brand in a negative way. The beeb rock the boat, they get their highlights rights taken away. Ditto Sky and BT. So it’s a closed shop, where pundits culled mainly from Liverpool and Man Utd talk about things totally from the POV of the big teams. Therefore ref decisions are only important if they affect the big boys in some way.

My point was probably not put well but I was surprised that they had a chance to rule it out but didn’t take it. They gave everything else their way.
 
Its not often that we unanimously agree on something, but it says something that we do on this matter, his performance was a disgrace.

However, there's almost a relief in having confirmation and solid proof that the system is simply rigged against us. No-one can deny it anymore.

Completely agree. Osula in particular must be thinking the is a conspiracy against him as he's picked up two yellows in three games for fouls that should have gone the other way!
 
The club should lodge an official complaint about the amount of added time added

When everyone calms down, the current inability to clear our lines late on, will rear its head as a major issue. Referees and the Prem can go and take a shit by the way in case anyone thinks I feel their actions today are justified with the fucking added time.

If I watched that game from the Spurs end today I’d be saying we got what we deserved for wasting so much time and shithousing.

We went mad at teams who did the same to us last season.

The rules have changed this season so if you want to fuck about and waste time, they add loads on. It’s really not hard, just don’t do it to the level we did.

Manage the game by clearing the ball and when there’s the opportunity to retain possession do that as well.

We constantly gave it away today and wasted time. We got what we deserved.

Some of that was in the first half so should have been added on to the first half.

Second half, 12 minutes? 7 or 8 I can understand but 12?!!!

They did add some to the first half, but Wes was taking the piss 2nd half.

If people are happy to see us playing using those tactics then they can’t complain when we’re back in the Championship and Rotherham and Blackpool do it to us.

Conceded a free kick while having his shirt pulled, indicated to the ref that he was having his shirt pulled, ran towards the ref a little bit but didn't really charge at him or get close, so unless he swore at him or called him a clueless card happy wanker who was only adding on so much time on because he had a bet on Spurs to win, it seemed a bit harsh.

He's absolutely full of 'gutted for awl the boys..ohnoooooo' all the time. Comes across as an utter wet blanket if you ask me....so don't. 😃 I dunno, so frustrating this constant late throwing away the points. Sorry Carl but your approach really grates in the shitty circumstances.

Ref was acting within the law changes by giving him his second yellow he was right in the refs face
