Might be shot down but Norwood needs to be a back up only now couple of times it needed a cross into the box (and yes we had someone in there !!!) But he's gone for the short safe pass
If we've 2 loans one has to be a central midfielder and a ATM
Quite impressed with traore and osula ( lad needs some keeping his feet lessons)

No idea how we'll manage it, but somehow need to get the ball into man city's box. They're pressing us too well for us to have much possession and play our way through their lines, but I'd be really tempted to go long and try to mix it up in their box to hope for a lucky break!

Great last ditch defending from blades. Fantastic practice for the defenders! Jtl absolutely loving the battle!

We've been there before and he keeps proving you lot wrong...and I'm not even his biggest fan!!

After watching this first half and watching a bit of Burnley v. Villa I can say that this team is definitely better equipped for a relegation dog fight. Burnley are still playing like they're in the Championship, they're going to end up like Leeds.

Under siege but the lads are battling hard. Is there some sort of FA script for a City win? Refs giving us nowt!

Lots of pointing and safe passes again, don't get me wrong I think he's one of the best midfielders We've had but I just wish he'd lift his head because he's capable of pin point passing 60/70 yards and the 2 lads upfront are giving him a target,as soon as we get the ball anywhere they're off and moving

Have you seen haalands girlfriend yeh she's with him for his good looks

its all the little pushes in back that he's waved away from them hard enough holding the ball against the best team in the world without that

I understand that it’s Man City but FFS lumping it up top is such an easy way for them to just keep possession

Not much of a contest, showing a lot of heart but these games are not enjoyable. That's what 100's of million pounds gets...still a brave effort

Yes, not surprised osula couldn’t take anything cleanly when he’s pushed in back on every header. Proud otherwise, if we can begin to apply some forward pressure then I really think we’ll be fine.

I mean, even the penalty was a 50/50 really and, lo and behold, it’s given.

the gulf in quality is absolutely vast but i do feel like we could have tried to play a bit more instead of defending for our lives and long balls. They were always going to score so not sure we now know what to do.
