All creativity last year was through Ily- without him we are half the team we were last year.

Very few goals for us this year I'm afraid.

Feels like we are approaching this like we've just been promoted to Leauge 1.

After all the effort last year you can see the morale is very low- extremely upsetting and worrying.

This is what happens when lose your three most creative players from the previous season and don’t sign anyone to replace them. Any club at any level would struggle in this circumstance.

The club should be lifting heaven and earth to bring creative players in this week.

I’m just on my way out of the game right now, and know it’s a preseason etc, but that was dire. Did we have a shot on target?

Larouci seems way off it, looking worse than Lowe, and our defence seemingly carved open on a number of occasions.

Yes it’s preseason and we can’t read into it too much but that’s probably close to our first team currently, possibly JLT out for Trusty and we’ve been overrun by a team that scraped survival in the Bundesliga.

Thoughts all? Lots and lots to build on imo, we look way off as it stands.

we are going to have to improve on alot by next saturday, hopefully it is just preseason, & the motivation will change with a full crowd

but what was happened to defensive organisation as it was our biggest strength last season, 1 of things that could bring confidence. with 10 men v burnley & when man city only really opened us up once at wembley. now we were extremely vulnerable to pace on the counter almost every time also we going to have to retain possession far better. we cant keep give possession away as easily as we did

although that bloke in family stands header, was the biggest cheer of the match. probably says alot for the entertainment value

The most relieved I’ve been about getting the KO time wrong. Looked on here before I set off to pick my dad up at 12:50pm and realised it’d kicked off. Watched it on the stick and patted myself on the back for not driving to Sheffield and back to watch it.

I know it’s pre season and that there are players to come in but that was very poor and disjointed. Some of the players didn’t have a clue what they were supposed to be doing and I saw a fair few arguments going on between the players.

Hopefully some signings made this week or next Saturday will be a stark lesson against a mid/low PL side.

What other teams in the EPL play two upfront? I think we need to drop one of our forwards and play an extra midfielder. We also need midfielders that have some pace to them, our current crop is slow and have very little movement.
