Are you a candidate to be the next Labour leader?
I seem to recall we created a stink when for the first time a semi final was given the go ahead to be played at Wembley, as it involved two London teams (arsenal and spurs). It was when we had to play the pigs and everyone wanted a day out at Wembley- seem to recall MPs getting involved, and so it came to pass and every year since they’ve all been played at Wembley

Man Utd are playing Sunday

Man City have said they don't want to play on Saturday, so we're playing it on Monday 24th April now instead.

And because we aren’t paying the players or creditors, the rail unions are striking whatever day we play as well as supporting their brothers in the paint and fertiliser industries, whose lives we have also ruined.

It wasn't the first time. Arsenal v Spurs was played there a couple of years earlier as well. And after 1993 they went back to neutral venues again which is how we came to play Newcastle in 1998 and Arsenal in 2003, both at Old Trafford.

That’s the womens semis on 16th April
Ah reight.
The only reason for this crap is the FA's insistence that all semi finals are played at Wembley. Total bollocks. For over 100 years, semi finals have been played at other stadiums. There are plenty of other neutral stadiums available that weekend that are much more convenient for both sets of fans. Stadiums in cities where they aren't holding a massive rugby game and a marathon on the same day. Cities where it doesn't cost 250 quid for a hotel room. Cities where you can get from the stadium to the train station in 30 minutes.

It's clear the FA's primary concern is to make as much money as possible. They don't give a fuck about the fans. If they did, they'd consider Birmingham, Leeds or Newcastle as a venue for the semi final, as they used to do.
The FA is still in debt from building it, hence the need to maximise the games there.

If you add in play-off failures, we’re well into double figures, not all at Wembley of course.
If we fail in the play offs this year we'll be in double figures for play-offs alone (inc semi finals)
