I got the impression that with us he came in got his fitness levels up (a bit) and we saw the success of this. But then never kicked on.
After the covid restart his fitness was worse again and although he got an injury clear that he just didn't put the yards in.
He also was v.fortunate his car crash didn't hurt anyone.
I don't think he's a horrible guy or anything but just got some real bad habits that now are coming back to haunt him.

And he’ll always know that his life peaked at about 5:30pm on Sunday 24th November 2019 when he effectively ended Phil Jones* career with a barnstorming performance against Manure, on the telly, under the lights in a jam-packed, riotous Bramall Lane. What a night that was. One of my all time favourite games at the Lane.

He lost his best friend in Jan 2020. I think he was also stuck here on his own during lockdown. Now, I'm not going to 100% defend him, but judging by his actions and his lack of consistency, something isn't quite right. Losing your best friend and then an isolating pandemic happening a month later is going to fuck even the most sane of us up. I hope it clicks, but some people are wired differently. It's easier said than done when you're of rational/sane mind, but you don't know how difficult discipline can be for some people.

This is very similar to Morrison, who's teeth for example were falling out at Birmingham because he was scared of the dentist and was never taught to brush his teeth properly.

Life isn't black and white.
