Norwood's one of those players that can go under the radar a bit when you watch it on TV.
When you're in the stands you notice him and his impact a lot more.
Not sure why that is.
The best performance I've ever seen by a player at the Lane was Scholes in 2006/07. A player similar in style to Norwood that I'd never fully appreciated until I saw him in the flesh.

This 100%, if you're sat watching on TV you don't appreciate some of the skill and vision in his passing, I can't remember a Blades midfielder with a better range of passing than Norwood

Stand up Oliver Norwood, brilliant today, absolutely ran the game. UTB
Well said love the bloke IMO any team in this league would take him in a heartbeat what a professional he is and he does deserve legend status for what he’s done at our club
Wilders best ever signing 100% ( JOC don’t count )

Strangely enough, I always say that scholes performance is the best I have seen at the lane too. I think one of those players that also looks better in person than on tv. He is as under every clearance, never took a touch, just kept the ball moving 👍

Said it on other threads, only when he’s gone will the haters appreciate what a baller he is. I’m in the Berge camp but he was brought in to take over from Ollie in that role there not in the same league, he can switch play and dictate the way we play. Sander is different player who has great attributes. If Norwood had an extra yard of pace he wouldn’t be at the lane.

Agree with both of you on the Scholes performance. Best I've ever seen too.

Norwood was superb today and ls seriously in contention for our player of the season

We can't miss one game due to an international break, how we gonna cope with a month off?

Our players will of course be rustier, unfitter, slower and need much more time to get up to speed than everyone else, this mid season break could do for us what covid did for us

And not just for us

Oh come on

All the gobshites know Norwood is pants and a pointless pinger

After all - they know what they’re talking about as they keep telling us
What you on about.

All he does is point🙄

Wow that really is a glass half full of looking at this break. Personally I see this as a break from heaven. 4 or 5 injured players will get fit and come back- a third fit team won today- get some players back and have a go at smashing the second half of season. If ever a break was a godsend right now it is.

Berge Doyle McB Lowe Bogle back in this team and we will ROCK.

Pompey's probably right.
How a player can basically disappear for 12 months, have an occasional good game then disappear for another 12 months, and then give a few 7 out of 10 performances whilst still having a few shit ones chucked in for good measure be talked about like some kind of world beater I don't know.
It just goes to show how low some people's standards are
