Norwood's one of those players that can go under the radar a bit when you watch it on TV.
When you're in the stands you notice him and his impact a lot more.
Not sure why that is.
The best performance I've ever seen by a player at the Lane was Scholes in 2006/07. A player similar in style to Norwood that I'd never fully appreciated until I saw him in the flesh.
Well said love the bloke IMO any team in this league would take him in a heartbeat what a professional he is and he does deserve legend status for what he’s done at our clubStand up Oliver Norwood, brilliant today, absolutely ran the game. UTB

Strangely enough, I always say that scholes performance is the best I have seen at the lane too. I think one of those players that also looks better in person than on tv. He is as under every clearance, never took a touch, just kept the ball moving![]()
You didn't see TC, I'm guessing. However, I absolutely agree that Oli is an outstanding midfielder. This 100%, if you're sat watching on TV you don't appreciate some of the skill and vision in his passing, I can't remember a Blades midfielder with a better range of passing than Norwood

And not just for usAgree with both of you on the Scholes performance. Best I've ever seen too.
Norwood was superb today and ls seriously in contention for our player of the season
What you on about.Oh come on
All the gobshites know Norwood is pants and a pointless pinger
After all - they know what they’re talking about as they keep telling us
I knowWhat you on about.
All he does is point![]()
Norwood is probably one of the best Championship players in recent history
Wow that really is a glass half full of looking at this break. Personally I see this as a break from heaven. 4 or 5 injured players will get fit and come back- a third fit team won today- get some players back and have a go at smashing the second half of season. If ever a break was a godsend right now it is.We can't miss one game due to an international break, how we gonna cope with a month off?
Our players will of course be rustier, unfitter, slower and need much more time to get up to speed than everyone else, this mid season break could do for us what covid did for us
...... unless you're Pompey, and thinking "shit - he's been pretty good today; gotta give him at least a fuckin' 6 again"he was a joy to watch today
