Egan is captain. He should be organising the back line. The problem is that we didn't reset in any way following the corner and nobody seemed to have a clue who they were supposed to be picking up.



That's a shambles. I'd be pissed off if my old Sunday league side defended like that. Why is Baldock in Basham's position? Where's Basham gone? Who's Egan marking? How the fuck is the Birmingham centre forward picking the ball up on the edge of the six yard box with no United player within 5 yards?

Repeat. Basham and Egan would be completely destroyed by QPRs creative, fast pace attackers. Might as well give them 3 points now and save everyone a lot of trouble.
Seperate issue re that and a subsequent corner. Why does the manager allow all 11 to come back to defend. Leave Sharp and a n other on the halfway line meaning they have to keep 4 back. Their goal came from a phase just after the first corner when they recycled the ball back into the box. Not 5 mins later they had a second and we did exactly the same, invite them all up for the party. Simple lack of attention to really simple things.

Then tonight. What a glorious chance to score. In absolute acres of space. Time on his side. I say there thinking hit it low. Take a touch and hit it low. Predictably he lashes at it with nil composure straight at the keeper. For someone who has the additional skills of having played Gaelic football he has to do better in that situation.
